plenty bright for my needs, and long battery life
There are so many of these available, I just took a chance after reading reviews and ordered this one. As you see in the photo, I mounted it on a tripod, which made the light extremely versatile. I use it to work on bikes, either on the floor or mounted on my lift table. So if I'm working on small parts or something with tricky adjustments, I have plenty of light. Working at my reloading bench with this light makes the job a lot safer. I usually use only the low or medium setting, as the high setting is a bit too bright, unless I need to illuminate something several feet away. I purchased a spare set of batteries, thinking I didn't want to get caught with dead ones in the middle of a job. But I've never needed them, likely because I seldom use the brightest setting. Three hours is the longest I've used it continuously so far, and I always plug in the charger after I'm finished work. Overall, 5 stars. But I gave it only 4 for versatility, due to it needing (my opinion) a better mount than the small bracket it shipped with.

Light work great. I'm using this light for fishing. The light work great for 3 hrs then shut off on its own not sure why it wasn't showing any signs of the battery running out. I turned the light back on and after 5 minutes turned off again. I haven't used again yet to see if it does it again. If anyone has had this happen to them using this light and knows why please comment.

NOT 8000 lumens at all!
the advertised “8000 lumens” are more along the lines of MAYBE 3000. at best on a full charge. be aware that lumens do not always directly convert to wattage. wattage is a unit of measure that represents amount of power/energy usage/output whereas lumens is a scale to measure the level of “brightness” of a specific light. & just because something utilizes/emits more power/energy - does not necessarily mean it will correlate to higher performance - or in this case - brighter light. i returned this light within hours of receiving it. even after reading reviews & having ordered 3 other work lights & returned them all in hopes of finding an actual true 7000-8000+ (ideally, 10,000) lumen rechargeable work(/“flood” as ive come to see on here) light that will withhold a reasonable charge & if it doesn’t - at least be able to power on while plugged in. i have yet to find one that even touches the advertised lumen output. take note that many of these lights on here will advertise “100w 10000 lumens” … as if a standardized conversion rate. & hardly ever do these lights emit more than maybe at most 2000 lumens. ive attached a photo of this light on its highest setting while plugged in next to my hyper t0ugh (w@lm@art) rechargeable TRUE 5000 lumen work light that truly is bright as heck & emits the stated 5000 lumens. 5000 LUMENS SHOULD BE EMITTING AN EXCEPTIONALLY BRIGHT LIGHT THAT WHILE INDOORS CAN LIGHT UP A ONE BAY CAR GARAGE PROVIDING ADEQUATE-GOOD SIGHT ABILITY. unfortunately- the HT light dies within 20 minutes of a full charge on highest brightness (however, doesn’t loose performance as battery drains) & does not power on while being charged. a major set back that renders the light useless. hence my mission to find a new one. that’s becoming more of a headache than the light i’m trying to replace.

Stopped working shortly after 30 days.
Stopped working shortly after 30 day return window. Doesn’t hold charge or turn on. Company said they wouldn’t do anything about issuing a refund or offering a replacement because return window had closed. Do yourself a favor and buy a light from a reputable company.

Not real 8000 lumens…
I purchased a different light that is 6000 lm and it is by far twice as bright as this one advertised as 8000… Yes, it is battery operated, which is real advantage, but I believe the light performs at maximum 4000 lm.

Excellent light!
Great light! I do tile installations and unfortunately sometimes there’s no light in my work areas due to no power being turned on, so this is a great commodity to have. Lights up a 8’x5’ room easily. It’s made of sturdy stuff too as I’ve already dropped it and dropped stuff on it. Fully charged battery lasts 3hrs on full brightness. Highly recommended. 👍

I've had this light for well over a year. It's rattled around in my trunk with other big heavy tools between uses, and it still is fine. I do construction, so it gets abused even when not in use. Light is very bright - I believe the 8000 lumens number on high. Not sure what product the negative reviewers got ... Sounds like an entirely different light than the one I have.

This product is cheap garbage. Buy a light from a real company like DeWalt or Mikita or even Ryobi or that Canadian Tire brand. At a maximum, it worked 20 times. I think it was more like 10-15 times. By times I mean I turned it on and off at most 20 times before it stopped working. Then it would only light up with the red light, and would not switch to normal light. The plug port came loose. I opened it up to see if fixing the port could fix the light. there were 4 small screws to loosen behind the batteries to get to the area with the port. The plastic cracked off when undoing the screws. You can see the inside mechanics and hardware are a joke. Like cheap single use electronics from China in kids toys, though I have bought cheap remote control drones from China that were hundreds of times as durable as this cheap junk. Do not buy this product.
