Can I use it for a hair drug test and it actually work?

You need to get the aloe shampoo for that. Also you can bleach your hair and redye it. The bleach will make things better.

My son was getting a hair test, an instant nicotine test, and a full physical exam.  I know my son was had smoked pot at least 5 days prior to hearing about the test and I know he also smoked several times before that, all within 90 days (that is what they say how long the marijuana stays in your hair).  We found out on a Friday that he would have to get the tests done by the following Tuesday (within 48 hrs.) This is what I did......first I read about getting a hair detox shampoo, So I went to Sally Beauty Supply and got this stuff called Charcoal hair detox shampoo.  He washed his hair with it on Friday and Saturday.  Saturday I was reading more and found out it had to be medical grade shampoo (whatever that is) and there were about 5 recommended to have worked.  STAT was one of them, so I ordered it on Amazon 1-day delivery.  I read more on the subject and found a suggested method that has proven to work, so this is what we did.  First we wet his hair with warm water.  I towel dried it.  Rubbed vinegar in his hair well so it gets into the scalp and fine hair.  We then added about 1-2 tablespoons of Neutragena T-Sal shampoo (contains 3% sylicin).  Rub it in well.  Put a shower cap on and leave it on for 30 min.  Then we washed it out and then washed his hair with the detox shampoo after washing well (read the directions on bottle) then we washed his hair with 1/2 cup of tide laundry detergent.  He did this method on Sunday, Monday, and on Tuesday morning.  The STAT shampoo didn't come in UPS until Tuesday morning.  So he picked it up at UPS and then went home and washed it in his hair well.  He then took the test that afternoon.  We found out 8 days later that he passed and was hired.  Note - he washed his hair with detox shampoo for 5 days including 1 day using the STAT shampoo.  I would also use synthetic urine you could purchase at a local head shop.  My son used this also.

Does this also take alcohol out and how far back can they possibly test for?

As far as I know, alcohol leaves your system within 48 hours. I do not know if will show up in a hair test.
