Omg! I love this! Sorry for the quality of my video and picture my camera is broken on my phone. This is the most a adorable item! We also purchased a box of puppets on Amazon as well. This was a Christmas gift for my grandson. He has been having so much fun with this. He is quite the entertainer and loves to be center stage. What I like best about this is that it really helps him with his communication skills and speech. He is autistic and is delayed. Being an only child has its ups and downs. It can be lonely being the only child in a house full of adults. I think it's safe to say I might have had as much fun playing with this as he did on Christmas morning. The quality is great and it was fairly easy to assemble! Thw curtain pulls apart and has draw back ties and the clock on the front is movable to change ge tbe time which also helps withlearninf how to tell time. Definitely happy with this purchase!

Just wow. I got this on sale for about $50 and it was worth every penny. My 3.5 year old was just having too much screen time. Educational programs or not it doesn't matter too much screen time just cannot be a good thing. I kid you not this is the ONLY thing this ENTIRE pandemic that has kept him engaged and having fun. I love that I assembled it alone in 20 minutes. Most of it was with the hex key/Allen wrench provided with the package BUT you do need a flathead and a Philips head screwdriver just for a quick second but it is needed. The directions were absolutely perfect I cannot think of anything that could have been added or alerted to make it any simpler . Im not handy I usually get frustrated with put together toys. This was quick and painless while my kids were distracting me. This is a STRONG and sturdy piece. Treated with respect it can easily last a very long time. UPDATE ON 4/21/22 AFTER OWNING AND USING HEAVILY EVERY DAY .. Best purchase! Worth it! Will be buying in the future as gifts for others. I love love this puppet theater. However, we do not only use it for puppets. We also pretend play that it is a food truck window. We place it beside the toy kitchen and my son pretend serves me food ready to eat. We also use it with big sheets and pretend it's the entrance to our fort. There are so many ways to use this solid well made piece. Absolutely do not regret this purchase. My now almost 5 year old and 2 year old play with it literally every day and shockingly no signs of wear.

I am very glad I bought this for my four year old. She absolutely loves playing with it. My eight year old also plays with it. The assembly was not bad at all. It took less than 20 minutes to put it together. It is a sturdy and well made piece. It is wide enough for both of my children to do a puppet show at the same time. The clock in the front moves to whatever time the children want to place it on. The curtains are great. They open, close and have a velcro tie back on both. It is light enough to move around, but not too light that it will tip over. My children have fun for hours with this. It is also tall. Great purchase.

The "Melissa and Doug" puppet theater made a huge hit with my almost 4 year old son on Christmas morning! I was very pleased with the quality of the theater and also with the ease of assembly. It took me all of 10 minutes to put it together. It is a very professional looking little puppet theater and we expect lots of future educational fun. Great inspiration for the little one's imagination and creativity! We will also use this puppet theater in our homeschooling projects to make learning more fun. Great buy and fast shipping!

It took me an hour to put this together but that was because I got half of it done and then realize that I had one piece backwards so I had to take it all back apart and start again. The directions looked easy but the pieces weren't marked so it was hard to know which way some of the pieces went because they weren't labeled and it was hard for one person to do because you had to hold it and use the Allen wrench at the same time so I had to shove it against a wall and use my leg to hold it together so that I could tighten the pieces on. Overall the kids love it and I got it last year and it held up really nice and my preschool classroom.

his was easy to put together, which I appreciated, literally 30 minutes, lay everything out, know which piece goes where, it was very easy.... until I dropped a screw that rolled under the sofa... my bad! While the overall look is great, I’m not entirely sure yet how well it will hold up long-term. The clock area is made of a very thin board and arrived cracked, likely from transit. It’s not a major issue—I’ll be reinforcing it with clear packing tape—but that particular part does make me a bit concerned about durability. Time will tell, and I plan to update this review after a couple of months of use. That said, this puppet theater has a lot of possibilities beyond puppet shows. We’re using it to help kids get comfortable speaking in front of others—show and tell, reading aloud, and acting. I really like that it has side panels, which help hide the person behind the red curtains and make performances feel more immersive. Overall, it’s a great-looking piece with creative versatility, just with some questions about how certain parts will hold up over time.

This item came packaged well and even if it was handled rough in transit I doubt it could be damaged in shippment. It was very easy to put together, come w/ the allen wrench needed and has to points that a flat head screwdriver is needed, but if all you have is a butter knife it will work as well. It does not fold flat but that was a choice thinking a hinged side panel could break easy. THis appears to be durable for th 4 and 6yr old it was bought for. It is not too big and can easily be placed against a wall out of the way when not in use if you have cramped space. Brightly colored. Its educational value in creating stories and using your own imagination is one added benefit.

I bought this for all the grandkids to play with. They all absolutely love it. We have had all kinds of silly shows come through the curtains to entertain us. You better clap when the show is over, trust me on this!

My granddaughter loves putting on puppet shows

This little theatre is great for putting on small puppet shows. There is enough room for 1 adult back there or 2 smaller children. It is very sturdy and hasn't tipped yet! Make sure you season the chalkboard like it says in the instructions before writing on it otherwise it won't look so good afterwards!!! Kids love it and use their Folkmanis puppets with it all the time.

This is an excellent product. It is sturdy, well made and the instructions were easy to follow. I can easily see years of imaginative play with this theatre. The fabric is great on the sides and for the curtains, the height is good, and it is colourful and bright. I'm very happy with it.

Assembly was not that difficult. It looks a bit weak.
