Amazing! Works great for blight on tomatoes!
Great stuff. I've had big problems the last 2 years with blight killing my tomatoes but this product KILLS THE FUNGUS. I even had one plant that was 2-3 days away from me pulling it up the fungus was so bad. Literally 90% of the plant was engulfed in fungus. But 2 days ago I found this same plant had sprung a new strong limb! This was after I soaked this plant with Mancozeb a few days earlier. The product STOPS fungus cold. To be safe I am rotating this with Daconil so it's Mancozeb 1 week and then Daconil the next and so on to keep the fungus from adapting. The leaves that were infected before don't recover and have to be snipped off but the fungus is stopped from spreading. The product needs to be sprayed on regular intervals though since rain and weather can remove it. This is the stuff the pros use and if you live in a southern state with hot and humid summers you should try this fungicide in your garden. It KICKS A$$! 1-1.5 tablespoons per gallon is the recommended amount I have read online. I just looked again at the container booklet and it doesn't seem to have these smaller dilution numbers. Also when I spray I totally soak the plants and leaves to get complete coverage. 1 tablespoon per gallon has been working well for me so far but you can go to 1.5 tablespoons if needed.

In spite of good care - plenty of sunlight
Oh my gosh! This stuff REALLY works - immediately. I planted new miniature roses this spring and was instantly plagued with nearly every sort of fungus imaginable - black spot, rust, and powdery mildew. In spite of good care - plenty of sunlight, impeccable drainage, watering close to the soil and repeated application of "organic" remedies, the leaves just kept falling and falling off my little guys. I saturated my roses with a fairly aggressive mixture of Mancozeb and made sure it was allowed to dry thoroughly on the plants. Boom! I lost a few more leaves that were already infected and that was that. In less than a week, my roses have new healthy growth and no more leaf loss. I contacted Bonide customer service for follow up care. Cindy was awesome. She suggested using Rose Shield in 10 to 14 days and repeating every 14 days after that. I just planted two new roses and doused them with Rose Shield for prevention. So far, so good. The Bonide Fish Fertilizer she also recommended is stinky stuff, but my roses seem to love it as well as my fuschias. My advice - don't waste time with other remedies. Get the Mancozeb, follow the directions exactly and your roses will thank you. Just be careful not to inhale or get the product on your skin. Wash and clean up diligently afterward.

An Excellent Fungicide for Garden Use
Mancozeb is a topical garden fungicide, meaning it is not absorbed into the leaves, stems, and roots, but kills fungus on the surface. It has been in use since the late 60s and is very effective against black spot on roses as well as other garden blights. It is certainly not organic so organic gardeners beware. Used in conjunction with a systemic fungicide (like myclobutanil) which is absorbed by the plant, it can really help keep roses healthy through hot humid summers. I have had very good success with Mancozeb and reccomend it for the serious gardener. One note. In research I have done on Macozeb it would seem you are better off storing it in a climate controlled environment as I have read that exposure to extreme heat or cold could cause it be less effective.

Amazing for black spot
The product is muddy. Shake it up, use very little - half a tsp for a pint sprayer - and spray on the infected and lower leaves. It leaves a muddy residue. But nothing has ever gotten rid of black spot like this product - and it isn't considered toxic to bees. Unfortunately, it doesn't cure other diseases like rust as effectively. But, wow, it is a miracle on black spot. One application cleared it up and I've sprayed just the lower leaves on the plants that are most susceptible once a week since with no recurrence. (Tomatoes and roses in particular.) Now, I need to cure rust with a bee friendly treatment that the plants don't mind. Neem holds it back and helps prevent it - but I still have issues.

Blackspot killer for roses!!
OMG I FINALLY found something to help my roses. I live in north Louisiana where we have extremely hot and humid summers. Springs have very warm days and cool nights which all of the above are perfect for blackspot outbreaks. I have tried what I feel must be everything on the market to no avail. The FIRST spray stopped most of it. Sprayed again in five days and there are NO blackspot leaves anymore. I also sprayed the mulch under the roses. If you are on the fence about this product for roses BUY IT, IT WORKS!

Works extremely well on tomato plants in the south
Septoria leaf spot and gray mold is very problematic in FL; this product helps to control it if used as directed. Other products don't seem to work as well, including Mycobutanil and soluble copper.
