Does not fit!
Purchased for 2014 Ram 3500. Initially looked the same but... the two outside button holes on the left and right sides did not line up with the holes in the tailgate and got worse as you moved further out. Same with the snap-in tabs molded into the cap. They were off by 1/8-1/4" and bent when trying to install. The ends of the cap were about 1/4" short of the sides of the tailgate. Ended up damaging the product on install. Disappointed and annoyed.

Tailgate protector
The new protector freshens up the look. Unfortunately, only one of the pre drilled holes matches up with the factory tailgate holes. Several of the plastic fittings on the new tailgate guard do not match up with factory holes and snapped quite easily when installing. Disappointing!

Does not fit 2014 Ram 1500
This did not fit my 2014 Ram 1500 like it was advertised. It was too short to line up with the edges of the tailgate. This also means that the mounting holes inside the tailgate did not line up either. The color and texture did not match the factory colors and texture. I was very disappointed with this product and feel like I wasted my money.

Fitment issues
The top clips didn’t properly align to the holes so some clips broke when trying to pop in and clip and the little holes in the back for the push clips. Most of them didn’t align only got about two or three to fit in the hole. To hold and properly secure cover.
