HERSTYLER Colorful Season Hair Straightener (Green)

I had one of these flat irons a few years ago and it broke...No it's not flimsy, I dropped it on tile and the plates cracked. It was my fault and this can happen to ANY ceramic flat iron if you drop it. Anyway, my old one worked great and so does this new one! The one I had before was blue and this one is green, other than that it's the SAME product! I paid over 100 bucks at the mall for my old one...so when I saw it here for around 25 dollars I was skeptical but I ordered it anyway and I am glad I did!I should have ordered this iron from Amazon a long time ago! After my other one broke I tried various brands of flat irons and wasn't happy with a single one. This is the ONLY brand I can find that straightens, does loose waves and curls, has adjustable temperature AND doesn't catch my hair and glides over it smoothly. I have fine, wavy hair and this is the best iron I have found so far.These also come in several fabulous colors and this green is nice. I also have carpet in my new house so I don't have to worry about dropping it. These are actually pretty sturdy irons and I had my old one for quite a while. I'm very happy with the new one and it was delivered on time. Thanks Amazon!

This is a wonderful straightener !! I have bought 3 for 3 of my daughters and I will be buying another one for a Christmas present. I first saw this at the mall for over $100. I could not justify paying that amount but then found it on Amazon.com for this amazing price. This straightener gets very hot which if used correctly makes your hair very smooth and shiny. I have 4 daughters and we have NEVER found a better straightener. We only buy this brand now. The first time one of my daughters used it, however, she held it on too long and it burnt her hair. This is the only reason why I did not give it 5 stars. Again, if it is used correctly and not left on the hair for too long ... it works wonderfully !!

I just got my herstyler green flat iron today. I was worried that it was not going to be anywhere near how good the one I was replacing it with was that I had paid 40 dollars for that originally was 250. I got it and it looks almost identical to my old one and works just as good if not better. I remember seeing somewhere that the green pouch it comes with is heat resistant to put it in, I'm pretty sure it is not. It is pretty fuzzy material in there and I'm pretty positive it would burn right through it if put in there while hot. Other than that the pouch is a nice one for travel and to put away when not in use. as for me I use mine most every day so it hangs on the wall. So far (and as I said, I just got it today) it works great. No catching or pulling that I've noticed. It heats up really fast and gets to a really high temp for those pesky frizzy pieces that don't like to be straightened. I have some what frizzy and curly hair and I did my hair earlier today and it still looks great (no product besides conditioner that I always use). All in all I'm pretty happy. If that changes I will update this review.

I have to say it's a great flat iron that will get the job done for what it's worth. I can understand why some people say that their hair gets caught in it. Mine does too, and it's not because they put too much hair in between the plates or that the get caught in the seems or the plats and the plastic of the iron. It's almost like the hair sticks to the plates. But then you'd ask it you have any product on your hair, nope. Other than that issue, it's a great little flat iron. I will also say that I wish the "on/off" switch wasn't on the inside where the temperature nob is.

I love the color of the straightener. But what matter is what it can do , it does my hair really nice and i have thick , course hair and it makes it looks like i just walked out the salon. The heat is really high so dont burn yourself , and another thing that scares me is that if i drop it , it will break and i dont think Amazon covers the insurance that Herstyler does. So just be careful , its worth it though because it is real and really cheap and does the same job. normally this product from Herstyler would prolly be $150+ [...]. So i recommend it .

The straightener is nice and a lot cheaper than in the mall but I have found that it doesn't leave my hair as smooth as the HerStyler in the mall did. But for the price I would say it's worth it to save the $100 and get this one. The one thing I really was not happy with was that it didn't come completely as described. It said there was a "free travel bag" and I didn't receive it, and when I tired to contact the seller I got no reply. I travel a lot and would use the bag a lot but if you don't mind not having the travel bag save some money and buy the $20 HerSyler from another seller. I spend a little bit more so I could make sure to get the travel bag and I should've just bought it from another seller for a little bit cheaper. My friend bought the $20 HerSyler from another seller and it's the same as mine, so just save yourself a few bucks!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I purchased this item from Amazon seller COSMETICBEAUTYPLACE as a gift for my daughter, relying on existing reviews to assure me that it was a decent value for the money. It was delivered promptly. However, it not only DOES NOT WORK, it is DIRTY from being USED. It was purchased as a NEW ITEM. Upon going to the trouble of contacting Amazon customer service, I was promptly issued a return label and a refund. However, that is beside the point. I am furious and here's why - this exact sort of thing has been happening with increasing frequency when I order from Amazon. Unfortunately, I'm disabled and have to do most of my shopping online. For this same reason, it is difficult for me to complete returns. I sought help by writing to Amazon customer service, but received a non-helpful non-answer in response, declining to assist me in rectifying the multiple purchases I've made that have been fulfilled wrong, damaged, defective, or not at all. I swore off Amazon several months ago, but decided to try once more since (again) I don't have many shopping options. FAIL. Now I have to figure out a way to return ship the thing, not to mention shop all over again for the gift for my daughter. FAIL. BIG FAT FAIL, Amazon.
