Enjoyable read with a great story line. I would recommend reading this book. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

The leading characters, Trevor & Becca, are great! The light shined on a serious mental illness is well done. The sweet, funny, loving newlyweds, Aunt Clara & Uncle Arthur are fantastically written and one can't help but instantly love them. Then there's Buttercup, the comedic lovesick alpaca...what a hoot! There's some lovely, serious, dreamy, anxious, happy, sad and super tense moments in a fairly large cast of characters but it all comes out to a right proper ending. There's a few slightly steamy scenes and implied innuendo also some language. If you don't like that don't read it.

Im so positive that this series will have me taking a trip to Ireland in the near future...Trevor & Becca's story had me swooning & emotional on both ends. To read about Becca's illness & the tragedies that brought it about, opened my eyes & heart for people that suffer from this condition. A new awareness of the day to day challenges that they have to face..but with love in their hearts & support of family they prevail. Thank you Ava Miles for this beautiful story & for the loving Buttercup! Love Buttercup!!

Ava Miles can always be counted on for a good read with an uplifting storyline and interesting, likeable characters. (What woman doesn’t need a John Parker from “The Chocolate Garden” in their life? Sigh!) I really enjoy stories set in Ireland and downloaded this to my Kindle as soon as I knew it was available. Ava Miles is back and at her best again! You will laugh, cry, be on the edge of your seat and swoon. You will root with all your might for the 2 main protagonists and chuckle at, and admire, the exploits of a returning couple. Well done, Ava Miles. Well done. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I liked all the characters. It started out slow but as soon as all the characters were in place; animals and humans, it got really good. I enjoyed learning about some of the names and Ireland s care for their country. This family is going to be fun to follow.

The storyline was pretty solid, but this book could have done without the continual swearing; wish writers would realize foul language doesn't make a story great it detracts from the books meaning. The characters had the right amount of playful banter that made them endearing up until the swear words would pop out ruining the moment. And if you would rather not follow the main characters into the bedroom, and bed, don't give this book a try.

An enjoyable read despite its unreality. The warmth of the characters and the power of their family bonds gave you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. In contrast, I felt like I was right there having to take each painful step to make it outside and could empathize with her angst. I loved Hargreaves and Buttercup!

Once in a very blue moon, I like to read a good romance, set in an amazing location, with an excellent, strong male as the leading man & an amazing, beautiful, strong Lady as the leading woman. My "Go To" author USED to be Nora Roberts, that is, until Trump "Broke Her" & she thought it was a good idea to put politics & political dystopia/dysfunction in her novels, a VERY tragic & horrible mistake! I can get politics by turning on countless news shows & streaming content, the LAST place I want politics is in a romantic read...EVER! Thank you Ms. Miles for writing such a wonderful masterpiece & escape. Being a single man in his early 50s, I've had 1 marriage and a few longterm relationships, that in the end, weren't "The One," I'm not the type that pines for love, I do still believe that true love exists (even outside of novels), your novel helps with that belief & offers a temporary retreat from the hussles & trials of life. Who knows if it'll happen for me, maybe I'll find "her" one day, maybe not, I'll be happy either way, but along this journey of life, it's nice to have discovered a source that helps as a, "Spark of Hope." Okay, enough, this 1st novel was enough to hook me, so on to the 2nd! 😉😎

I liked everything about the book. The writing, the characters, the story, and above all the family ties. Highly recommended.

Just brilliant. Ava Miles ticks all the boxes. She can create humour and pathos in such a way that you don’t even realise that you are hooked into her dream of a story that becomes your own 🩷

This story line was predictible and surprizing at the same . A compelling read on how Trevor and Becca's love was all encompassing. It wouldn't have mattered what the challenges they would have come out on the other side. I so much enjoyed this book!

4.5☆ This book is full of emotions, tears, laughs, healing, acceptance, and love. It is well written, the characters have depth and uniqueness, are likeable, and fully developed. The storyline will keep you entertained and intrigued. Family and the connections between them is an important part of this story where Trevor and Becca start out in a bad way but end up with a deep, devoted love, and a satisfyingly sweet HEA. There were some minor typos and for me, I found parts of the story dragged a bit too much.
