Great towel for cleaning your clubs great in wet weather for keeping grips dry.

I've been playing golf for the better part of 30+ years, and I've used many towels. I was on the verge of getting a Players Towel (the one used on the pro tours which is probably similar in construction to the Club Glove towel which I also haven't tried yet) when I came across this towel a couple of years ago. Now, two years later, and I am still so satisfied that, not only did I not buy the Players Towel, but I bought another of these towels. Two things separate this towel from others. First is the velcro loop material on a portion of the inside of the towel that cleans the grooves while the microfiber finishes the job. Secondly, because the design is like a giant thimble, dirt and mud stays inside the towel. The outside of the towel stays relatively clean for other purposes, such as wiping your face. It is easy to clean in the washing machine - just turn it inside out. This does everything I need a towel to do. I can't think of anything to improve on it.

Great towel. helps to clean dirt/mud from the groves, then wipes of the rest of the club head very well all while keeping the dirt to the inside of the towel. Great for cleaning golf balls too. Like this much better than any other towel I've ever used. Gave them for xmas gifts as well. Update: After using the towel for a season the only change I would like to see is for a light weight piece of plastic or a s.s spring sewn into the opening that would hold it open (like a hoop). That way when clubs are really muddy/wet and windy, as was the case this spring, you could slide your club inside of the towel without having to hold the towel open keeping your hands cleaner and drier.

I rarely leave reviews but this deserves one. Such a great product... Old method: wet clubhead, wipe with towel, brush grooves clean, dry with towel. With this all you need to do is stick the clubhead inside and give it a quick wipe. It does a surprisingly good job of cleaning grooves. The outside stays clean, so no need to find a clean area of the towel to wipe sweat etc (or carry two towels)... and no more dangling brush on the bag to snag on things either. Will still keep a brush at home for regular deep cleanings but this does a great job on the course. Better than expected. Will never carry another towel (or a brush) on my bag again.

Before I leave a lackluster rating I make sure I'm using the product accurately. Originally I thought the towel was similar to the Frogger towels because the messaging talked about how much dirt and water it could hold. I wet the towel and was disappointed that it couldn't really be used to keeps grips and your face dry like the messaging indicated. I did like that it gives you two different areas. But for the towel to be most effective it needs to be wet. But just in case it was a user error I did more research. I asked the AMZ community and the seller said the towel is designed so you don't need to wet it. Great! I thought. I live in the desert and my towel usually dries out before I make it to the turn. My next few rounds I didn't wet the towel and the performance was awful. It got the grooves okay but the face was nowhere near clean. Considering it couldn't even clean off dry grass properly I was very disappointed. As you'll see in my attached photos my wedge face was still green after using the towel. So perhaps the product messaging should be altered or product redesigned with a waterproof layer between the inside and out. If that can be done it'd be more effective than buying a frogger towel and accompanying brush. I have no issue with wetting my golf towel but if you pitch your product as being able be just as good when dry, it should perform.

Great towel for your golf bag. There are 3 different textures on the bag...two on the inside and then the outside. I like the idea of wiping clubs off inside the towel and it does a great job of cleaning them...leaving the outside, softer side, of the towel for hands / glasses / face. I have another towel from a tournament and it is more of a traditional towel and when my bag is on its stand the towel drags the ground but not the spotless. Well thought out product and the clip is reversible to the top or bottom of the towel depending on if you are walking or in a cart. Honeslty, I leave it in the same position as in the picture. I suppose upside down it will hold all the dirt / debris in vs. letting it fall on your bag. Good product, a bit pricey for a towel, I know, has metal carabiner and 3 textures but I think you could make and sell this for under $20 minus 1 star.

I mainly use towel for cleaning clubs and works really well. Personally I feel uncomfortable using it to wipe my hands as well as when the clubs are dry I use the outside to wipe them. I use the inside when it is muddy or really dirty. The only problem is me, I forget to get the inside of the towel wet 50% of the time. If there is one negative it is the carabiner is kind of weak. It stays on the bag but the I have to make sure I put it upside down so it doesn't fall off. I could easily replace but I'm lazy.

cheaply made and not very effective not worth the money

I love that there is an area of the towel inside that will clean the head of my clubs with a special material! I use it to clean my balls as well! It’s one unit rather than a separate towel, a ball washer, and a head cleaner!!

Simple idea that really works. The different surfaces inside helps. We have had such a wet few months, It is in constant use. Towel is not too long to get could on the trolley wheels. Great product
