Three words to describe these earbuds
Soundstage: The first thing immediately obvious to me upon using these earbuds was what soundstage actually is. I've heard this word thrown around before. Frequently when talking about the KC06As. The sheer "wideness" of the sound these put out is amazing, compared to my previous sets of earbuds (Thinksound ts02, Brainwavz S1). Actually got my jaw to drop upon using them the first time. Warmth: These really are warm sounding earbuds. Strings, vocals, midrange are all emphasized and focused on. These earbuds accomplish this very well, but this better be what you want from them. My Brainwavz seem a lot flatter in comparison. Comfort: Easily the most comfortable of the earbuds I've tried. This is a very important one to me, as I use earbuds exclusively for comfort reasons. Haven't found any Over-Ears or On-Ears that I can comfortably wear for 8+ hours. These feel very light in the ear, although they certainly aren't in the hand (full metal casing). I think it's from being flatter and keeping the cord close to the head. The shirt clip helps a lot here as it takes the weight of the cord off of the earbuds. I really like the sound these put off. I feel comfortable turning the equalizers off on my devices (previously tended to have the EQ a bit bass focused). They're warm and punchy, and if you buy them you really ought to be seeking those attributes out. You can make them pretty damn bassy if you want (three of the tip pairs seem to be intended for this). Onto the physical stuff: Surprisingly good. These are obviously Chinese. The website is in almost-Engrish, and so are the manuals. Lots of Chinese writing on the packaging. The kickass sound and shockingly solid construction (metal casings, metal plug grip, metal Y splitter) make that inconsequential. My set came with 7 pairs of silicone tips (one pair with mesh filters), a shirt clip, ear hangars, and a carrying pouch. If these were priced at $120, I wouldn't bat an eye. Pleasantly surprised they aren't. End of 2015 edit: So I actually wear these so much it makes my ears bleed. Literally. I think it's because the housing is metal and somewhat sharp, but I have these in so frequently that I have to stop myself from wearing them for a few days or I get abrasions in my outer ear canals that bleed. So yeah, while they're comfortable for wearing for 8 hours at a time... doing so for weeks might not be sustainable. For casual use, these are pretty much flawless. As a lifestyle choice I'm not so sure anymore.

these are among the best earphones I have ever owned
In terms of sound quality, these are among the best earphones I have ever owned. However, less than 4 months into owning them, the metal grill covering one of the sound holes came loose and dropped out, exposing the innards of the earphone. The rest of the earphone's build quality is fine, but I expect my products not to fall apart before at least a year of use.

Wonderful sound for the price
Wonderful sound for the price. These are the bass heavier version of the KC06's from what ive read and they sound right in line with what i would expect that description would entail. Solid Mids, great highs and tight, slightly emphasized bass.I have actually owned a total of 3 pairs so far. my first pair was a Christmas gift that i accidently broke by getting snagged on them while they were plugged into my computer and snapped off the jack. My second pair was a replacement pair i bought myself that suffered the same fate except it was the copper wire in the sheathing that broke. So overall my only criticism would be the cable could be a braided cable as to make it more durable cause the sheathing shouldnt stretch to the point the copper wiring breaks before the sheathing. Other than that i guess what you can take from my review is that i liked them so much i went to the trouble of owning 3 pairs.

All FOUR pairs I've had of these have died in under 3 months. Very unhappy
Let me just start by saying this is the 4th pair of these I've bought in 16 months. Here's the deal... out of the box, they sound pretty good, fit is good, and everything is adequate for the price point. However, after 2-3 months the sounds just DIES from one or both of the buds. This happened on the first 3, and I assumed it was just something I was doing so I kept buying and replacing. After my most recent pair number FOUR, the exact same problem happened in under 2 months this time. It is now clear that it is a manufacturer defect and the quality is just not there. I'm hugely disappointed, and will now be leaving OSTRY and purchasing a new brand to replace my 4th broken pair. What a ridiculous waste of money this has been.

Great so far.
These headphones are really nice and im enjoying them a lot. I've seen many reviews before buying these and they are living up to the praise. They are really light which was surprising to me and the wire has this nice plastic coating that is smooth and has been pretty tangle free so far. The jack is straight, would be better if it was angled, but its nice since it is metal and has a grip to it. The headphones themselves are great, again very light and dont fall out of your ears, if you use the over ear things than its better. They are pretty loud too (i find myself never using full volume, around half) and the sound is good, very clear. It may just be me though but i was kind of expecting the music i listened to, to sound better. I mean, It certainly sounds good but I was kinda expecting this huge sound difference when switching from my previous headphones (they were skullcandies). Maybe its because im not used to them yet, only got them the other day. But compared to my other headphones there is no doubt that they are better. Only other complaint i have is that the ear tips that come on the box with the metal thing in it are very hard to put on and, to me, were really uncomfortable. But there are many options included, so far im using the small soft ones and they are good. Not good at reviewing, hope i gave enough info w/o too much crap. EDIT! forgot to say the carrying bag that comes with these are very nice but dont stay closed. You pull the strings tight but the slightest pressure on the sides and they begin to open up. Really soft tho :D

Great sounds, low build quality.
These IEMs sounded great. I really enjoyed using them, and wish they would have lasted longer. They didn't come with an in-line mic or controller, but still would have been a 4 or 5 star product. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to be well made. The left ear just went dead. There were no drops, smacks, or other damaging factors. It started off minor, like not working once then, after literally touching it, working fully again. Then slowly but surely the problem got worse and worse until it flat out didn't work any longer. The headphones would have been a great buy, but because of the seemingly low build quality, they were not.

i really like this one
i really like this one. sound is loud and clear. I have been using it for 8 months, but then one day the right earbud decided to shock me. Yea, I mean as in electrical shock. The problem is intermittent but I honestly don't want to hurt my ear over and over again...

Good flat line
My second pair having lost the 1st. Probably the clearest and most sonically balanced ear buds I have heard to date. Sound is open with no sonic impedance by mfr compression or crossover issues. These buds shine in the mid frequencies (vocals) with very balanced bass and treble. Treble is very tasteful with no harsh sibilance. The low bass is present, however, may not be the earbud for users seeking bass heavy transducers. Good flat line, very clear, earbuds. Having issues getting warranty service for the existing buds I currently have that are less than a year old. Being manufactured in a different country with little presence in the US, it is difficult getting in contact with a representative from Ostry/Shenzhen for warranty matters. If after purchase support is important to you, then going with this mfr might not suit your needs. Sonically, they are worth the money. Hope this helps, excuse the brevity.
