Hi there. I actually purchased not this one ( that is pictured), but also Age perfect, but named Revitalift. It does content Retinol and here is it's description I found on Amazon ( sorry - I did not keep my instructions, just my jar) . I don't think so. I have very sensitive skin, and I think it would have reacted. Maybe you should skip the area near your eyes, if that's the only area of reaction. Hope this helps.

Yes, I noticed age spot reduction on my face. That is the only place I have used the cream.
