is this a primer? Which one is the one that blur and minimizes pores but look good under foundation

This product fills in pores and surface wrinkles.  I use it before I apply a liquid make-up, followed by a light coating of powder.  I'm in my mid-60's, so this product certainly can't *erase* my wrinkles, but it does a good job of minimizing them.  ;)

Is this supposed to be very thick and almost dried out looking? Not sure if it's old or that's how it should be?

Can a man use this cream? I'm worried the matte appearance might seem obvious on male skin.

It’s clear and it just gives a smooth appearance so I think it would b great on any skin. I use more for more coverage but  it’s clear.  Just fills in pores so very smooth look!
