Very good filter and pump, easy install as usual
This is our fourth Intex soft sided pool and our first new one. It has been the easy to set up as usual but more work due tot the larger size. We bought the 26ft round that does not have the center exterior strap. I will update next year to report on longevity. The installation video is a great source for newbies. Tip: if you can't get the last coupling in; go ahead and install all of the legs. It makes manipulating the rail easier. Also pull the legs out at the bottom of the pool to get the large wrinkles out of the pool floor prior to geting in to do the last "kick" phase of install. Be sure to return the legs to a straight/not slanted position prior to filling the pool. This one took us 2 days to fill (running the hose over night). It is a fantastic size and the pump system works very well! Order sand when you order the pool. You need 100 to 150 pounds of #20 silica sand. Tip: research using a sand or crushed limestone base for the pool you are buying. Concerns differ based on the size and SHAPE of the pool. Learn about shift and errosion of the liner for both. We are using limestone but the tarp is between it and the pool liner. An extra pool pad on top of the limestone also prevents errosion. Crushed limestone is ~$6 per ton and sand is $60 per ton. Intex is great because replacement parts are readily available. Keep you instruction manuals so you have all your part numbers. Those gaskets and hoses vary in size and they are what you will replace on any above ground pool from time to time. Also, buy a skimmer when you order the pool. It will save you a lot of cleaning time and they are only $25-$30. PS ground leveling is essential, takes the most work, and is what makes your pool last and look great.

Very good pool, not so good connections and hoses.
So very excited to have gotten our pool up. We had a stainless steel pool for 15 years and it collapsed. Because we had quite a deck around it, we wanted a replacement quickly. In our area, installers are limited so it would have been next summer before we could get one installed. We chose the same size Intex pool and pleased to say it is pretty good. It was easy to put up especially we already had a level spot. As most say the last piece is a bear but with patience we got it! The only thing I wish they would do differently is get better pump hoses and connections. We already have 2 major leaks so I have to go out and try to find something better. The large pump and hoses we had on our old pool wonโt work unless we cut in a skimmer which we will do next year. The pump that came with it is good but I have no confidence in the connections and hoses. The first day the one by the pump leaked and now the one up at the inlet keeps working itself loose and really leaks. I canโt run the pump unless we are out there to make sure we tighten it back down. I checked with our pool store and they only have the clamp on kind. Otherwise, the pool is great, durable and a very good size. Would recommend for sure!!

Strong sand filter pump system keep the water clean.
We bought this pool a couple weeks ago. The sand filter is strong and works well to keep the water clean. The Pool itself is made very well and easy to install. The ladder was a little difficult for one person to put together but itโs strong. Iโm 165 pounds and felt safe stepping up and down off the ladder. I would recommend this pool for hours of fun.

Good Pool but had a couple issues! But would recommend this pool still.
This is a good pool for the money. Even with small leak. Don't be dissuaded because of the small leak. Just be ready and check as filling for signs of leakage. Overall was is great. Pros: Easy Set up, size, delivery, good pump and filter. Cons: Had a small leak on seam, trying to contact manufacturer or getting support is difficult, no suction side vacuum port, last top rail is a pain, didn't know I needed filter sand until afterwards. Setup: make sure you level the area good. I spent hours leveling because of size and was still off about 2" on one side. I left it because it wasn't bulging. Make sure to have two bags of pool sand filter ready prior to setup or go get while pool is filling. Make sure you start top rail at on point and work around in circular direction clockwise/ counterclockwise do not attach legs until top is complete . Last rail is a pain in the butt even while following the recommendation in directions. Just be patient. I caught the drip leak (video) early while filling and fortunately it was were I could get to it and put pvc glue on seam that sealed the leak. Returning item liked this would be a nightmare after hours of assembly just to disassemble. I would think a credit should be given for leak and couldn't get hold of anyone. Just a return but couldn't get support. Returning was out of the question. Maintenance: I have a pool cleaning service and had all chemicals on hand to treat pool. This made bringing pool chemistry easy for me. I would recommend keeping calcium between 160 to 200. Because you don't want vinyl to harden too much. I have well water low calcium. Mine is at 180. I have a high iron content in my well water. The pump and sand filter did great filtering it and I had to backwash a couple times. However, I don't like that it doesn't come with any kind of suction access for a hose vacuum to get sediment (picture 2) off the bottom. I had to order a battery cordless vacuum to hopefully get sediment off bottom. I cannot even net it with my microfiber net. These pools need and adapter to be able to hook a standard vacuum hose in order to vacuum using pump and filter. The pump and filter are surprisingly good, so far. I was impressed that it wasn't some cheesey pump and filter. It can be set time come on and run for selected number of hours up to 12 hours a day. Has internal clock to run at same time each day. Or can be set to run continuously. I'm excited to use this summer and this 26' is huge. I can swim short laps in it by myself, and is large enough to have several people in it. My family and friends will soon be invited for a BBQ. Make sure that you know the desired size for your area. I have a big yard so this was perfect. Even though a lot bigger than I thought and surprised by size and depth.

Nothing to regret; very satisfied with this pool
Iโve been buying Intex pools since 2018. My first was a 10 by 30 easy set pool that sat in the driveway. A few years later I upgraded to a 12 by 30 easy set. When we moved and bought a house I bought the 16 by 48 Prism (pictured). We loved that pool. The set up was easy and because we had a designated spot for it, we would take it down each winter and put it up each summer. Unfortunately, after 5 years, the pool deteriorated and so I got the 18 by 52 XTR. I love love love this pool. The set up was similar to the prism except the liner rods are shaped differently. The set-up was easy but it took a little more maneuvering as the new pool is bigger so we had to remove slabs that we had set into the sand that had served for the 16 inch. Once the setup was complete, I filled it about 5 inches and checked for leaks. No leaks detected so I kept going. I paused in the night and resumed in the morning and we are just about filled. I have a sand filter I bought years ago so I continued using it. It connects perfectly and I am about to shock it and open it officially. Until I am ready for something more permanent, I will continue with my above grounds and Intex is the brand I trust and the only brand I ever used and I have never been disappointed. This upgrade to the 18 inch was worth every penny. Also the delivery was for June 10th but was delayed and Amazon displayed a delivery date a week out. However, I was able to use the delivery serviceโs website and track it and it was scheduled to come the following day which it did. I would highly recommend this pool and I think I will winterize it this time and see how it holds up. Thank you Intex for giving us house owners a safe and cheaper option to enjoy.

Intex Pools = Garbage. Recalls, kids drowning, now manufacture defects. SPREETAIL will steal your $
DO NOT BUY FROM SPREETAIL!!! WARNING We were in the market for a backyard pool for my kids, and wanted one in advance of my son's 9th birthday party. I spent a lot of time reading about brands and although reviews for intex are HEAVILY inconsistent (they already recalled pools due to children dying in them), I trusted that this seller/item was official on *Amazon Prime*. I spend thosands of dollars every year on amazon items, nearly a new delivery every day from specialty groceries to dog food to household items to a pool.... The box arrived delivered in my driveway late on a Monday afternoon. Tuesday, we unboxed it to begin assembly. It about 4 hours as we were being very meticulous to do it correctly and carefully. Just about the time to insert the liner and start filling the pool- we saw that there was about a 4-6 inch tear in the seam where the "tab" portion of the liner attaches to the poles. I have since read that this is a very common issue with the new design of this pool since their last design was letting kids get a foothold and drown. This is another design issue. It wasnt even a hole, it was as if the liner where it was supposed to attach to the pole just was not assembled together properly or create a seal. Again, we had not even put a drop of water in this yet. I immediately reached out to amazon- again, less than 24 hours after delivery, because I was initially in a hurry to try to receive a replacement in time for my sons birthday party, but also because I wanted to leave no doubt that we didnt use or damage this item, that it arrived with a manufacture defect. Amazon customer service was NO help. They said- sorry, you need to contact the seller. What is this, EBAY? Why is it certified PRIME If I am going to be forced to contact spreetail directly? UGH. In any case, I reach out to spreetail and ask a bunch of questions, they give horrible customer service and dont even fully answer any of the questions I have. So I try to call. What do you know, its a call center in India who cannot help me at all. The seller did manage to "assure me" that as long as I broke down the pool and put it back on a pallet that we would get it picked up and receive a refund. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to repackagin a pool into the original packaging???? We are now about 10 hours into to WASTED TIME assembling then breaking down this stupid pool, and trying to be meticulous about packaging to their standard. Fit it into the box, bought plastic wrapped and plastic wrapped it all up so that it was an air tight seal and completely protected for the return. I ordered a replacement (yes, paid ANOTHER $1,400 in attempt to get it ASAP and try to save my son's birthday, too bad it still didnt arrive in time and we had to cancel his party and go somewhere else, which cost me more unplanned money) and then that pool has since arrived and we assembled it and filled it with (seemingly) no issues, knock wood. Guess what? Spreetail has now reached out to me and advised me that they will only issue me $600 of the $1400 I spent as a refund, due to "restocking fees" and "returning a product not in original condition." I cant make this stuff up. I reached out to Amazon customer serice once more to share my outrage (mind you, I am currently out almost $3,000 at this point) and Amazon just says - oh, sorry, its up to the seller to issue the refund. I have completely lost confidence in Amazon and will be ordering ALL items from WALMART from now on. At least if something goes wrong, I am able to drive to a brick and mortar store and drop the crap back off to someone who speaks English and get my refund. I SUGGEST EVERYONE DO THE SAME!! AMAZON IS GARBAGE. SPREETAIL IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. INTEX POOLS ARE JUNK.

Love it!!
Amazing bang for your buck. I actually bought the salt water pump, but the one that comes with the pool is handy for extra parts, if needed. I bought used pool stairs since the ladder is not very sturdy. We built a little Tiki bar and stairs!

Very Disappointed with Intex!!!
The pool pump went after 1 season. Would not turn on this year put a customer service Inquiry in as it says warranty for 2 years and because we do not have the proof of delivery date ๐ as my emails were deleted due to new phone Intex will not cover new pool pump. And cannot find a proof of Delivery order history through Amazon which is toTotally disapppinting! Very vwry pissed off and disgusted as we sent original receipt of purchase of pool through Amazon. This is why it doesn't pay to order things online apparently. Very Very unhappy customer to say the least!!! ๐ค๐ก๐ก
