Very interesting read, recommend

This book kept me interested even as an adult. I purchased for my friends son to read and enjoy.

I read 1/2 of the book before passing it along to my grandson. It was enjoyable and quite creative for a young boy to read. We live in the country where many things could be possible although much of it not probable. After all, it is Fiction!

I read this book in fourth grade, then again to my son when he was young. It’s a fantastic book! I purchased this time for a young reader I know and she loved it, as well. Highly recommend for any reader, young or old(er)!

I'm assuming this occurred during transit, so I won't complain.

My 11-year-old grandson does not love to read, but he loves this book and has read it cover to cover. He is so enthusiastic about it that I plan to buy a copy of the sequel for him.

I read this as a kid - part of the summer reading program. First book I ever enjoyed reading. Recently found my original copy and loved it just as much as I did originally. Bought a few copies for friends with kids in the 8-12 year-old range.Every kid wants to run away and be independent. This is a story about being successful at it, and then realizing it's ok to want your family!

I loved this book so much as a child that I gave it to all my grandchildren.

I work in a nursing home and when I decided to read to the residents I started with my own book collection suggesting some of my favourites to read. When we got to this book I was surprised to find how universal this story was. While I loved it as a child my residents each found something in the pages that they could relate to and since then I've had the pleasure of reading it a dozen times and now I bought the ebook so I can carry it with me even further!

D’habitude je n’aime pas lire, mais j’ai beaucoup apprécié ce livre. Il n’y a pas beaucoup d’action mais c’est très captivant.

Recommended for any person who has ever considered running away to live in the wild, it will set the fires of your imagination crackling and ready to start packing your camping gear.

If you ever want to know how to survive in a forest..Read it! It is fun and light read..
