Be careful around it
Don't spray furniture polish near it or it will stain this item. Have the furniture polish for your desk sprayed on a rag and wipe around this item. Do not have furniture polish sprayed on your desk near this desk pad or it'll splash up and stain it

Excellent leather desk pad
This is an excellent leather desk pad. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It arrived in a square package, unrolled. Needless to say, it looks absolutely beautiful on my desk and I believe I will have it for the rest of my life, which is why I went for quality in the first place. It is, however, on the pricey side, hence the 4 star rating. Other than that, a very good bargain.

Very Pleased
This desk pad is very attractive and appears well made. The sides are real leather, and the center portion is some kind of nice vinyl. I'm not sure why someone else complained about the surface being soft, as mine is not. Just enough to give you a very small cushion for your writing. The produce may have changed. I plan to use it with the matching heavy paper blotting pads that fit the center section. It will be nice not to have my forearm sticking to the desk when I write.
