BEST FLAVOR
Of all the red twist licorice options available, this has the flavor closest to the old fashioned taste I remember from childhood. The only other one I have tasted very similar is the one made by Door County Confectionary.

Great licorice!
The name the name says it all, it is definitely old fashioned licorice. It is a thousand times better than twizzlers. It's thicker, softer, and definitely has more flavor than the thinner, plastic tasting licorice in the candy aisle at the brick and mortar stores.

It's delicious
I ordered the hot cinnamon. And I just re-ordered it. I am a licorice fanatic. I will always buy licorice when I see it. I am not particularly a fan of twiddlers I feel like it just taste like die in corn syrup. However, this licorice is not that licorice it is full of flavor the texture is soft yet firm, and it's thick so you get what I would say would be equal to at least two medium strings of licorice into every bite it it's delicious it's well worth it

They Are Okay in a Sorta Old Fashioned Sorta Way
The first shipment I never received, and the supplier was nice enough to send another. I was really waiting in anticipation. They looked better than they tasted, or at least I should say they were not what I expected. They had a slightly oily taste and not as fruity as I'd like, sort of way. They were okay; that's about all I can say, and I give them a four overall, because of the courtesy of sending a replacement pack.

Didnt like it - sorry
Tried a few brands from Amazon to see what was out there. This review is for the Backroad Country Red Licorice. While the packaging was nice and product looked nice - my personal opinion is I did not like the flavor at all!!! It tasted like Vines licorice which I am not a fan of, maybe worse. It had a strong smell and that smell even permeated a bit through the plastic bag i had them in onto some of the other licorice brands I had bought. Wile some people may like this, I personally am not a fan and will not be buying this one again.
