NISSIN Cup Noodles, Soba Wok Style Yakitori Chicken Flavour

These are lightweight, tasty and convenient. The noodles are not the most filling thing so i would see them more as an occasional treat than as a full meal. The product is well packaged and relatively good quality compared to other brands. The cup can get quite hot during preperation, so be careful of burns from steam. The lid can get clogged with vegetables which prevents effective draining sometimes, but this can usually be resolved by turning it upright and shaking/tapping on a hard surface. I find that I usually want a slightly firmer texture, so I dont leave it for the full stipulated amount if time but this is personal preference.

Just WOW. Great tasting wok style noodles (don't go too soft or have any weird texture), with real chicken bits, veg and the sauce, which has an essence of BBQ but not too salty or strong, and really tastes amazing, and I will be repurchasing! My only gripe is when draining the water, the outside is too hot and it's hard to hold and then remove the lid without burning yourself.

They taste and feel like the chow mein noodles I have had from Chinese restaurants. Very good.

I love the taste, quantity of noodles and quality of the product. Price ok is little bit more expensive than expected but is not that bad overall

after three minutes you pour the water out then add the flavour pack. really nice flavour might add a touch of hot sauce to it for some heat. burp

So I ordered 7 different brands of cup noodles (the original UK ones, several popular Asian ones and couple of newcomers) to see what's what. I couldn't finish half of them, they were either really artificial, disgusting or confused (like when "sweet chilli" is just sugar). Nissin noodles are simply the best. Don't taste artificial, ready in 3 min, mixes super easily, and so satisfying. Chicken, Beef and Duck are current favourites.

Nutritional info says vegetarian, the listing also says vegetarian and vegan but the ingredients list shows chicken fat and chicken pieces. Took them at their word when I ordered, many chicken flavoured noodles are vegan, didn’t read the ingredients as I wouldn’t have ordered something with meat in. Was curious what the cubes were made out of, if it was soy or wheat based and that’s when I saw it was meat.
