After years of DIY projects and countless wall fixings, these fischer DUOPOWER plugs have genuinely impressed me as a cut above standard wall anchors. The dual-component design (red exterior and gray interior) isn't just for show – it actually serves a clever purpose, allowing the plug to adapt to different wall materials. I've used them in everything from solid brick to plasterboard, and they grip exceptionally well in all cases. The pack of 50 pieces with matching screws is generously sized, and having everything you need in one box prevents those annoying mid-project trips to the hardware store when you run out of either plugs or screws. What sets these 6x30mm plugs apart is their foolproof installation and impressive holding power. The design spreads the load evenly, and they expand reliably without crumbling the surrounding wall material – a common issue with cheaper plugs. Even in hollow walls, they create a secure anchor point that inspires confidence. The included screws are good quality too, with sharp threads that bite well into the plug without causing it to spin in the hole. My neighbour actually recommended these screws to me. In his words; "These are my go to screws for everything". Yes, I now agree, they are perfect and simply hold just about anything. Pictures, solar panels and external CCTV cameras to name just a few items. Great quality screws with raw plugs included. You spend a little more but you really get a quality screw that goes in and stays where you put it.

Plugs are good and hold well but, as you can see in my pictures, the screws snap easily. This is a big problem because you have no way to remove the sheared screw and therefore you need to reposition whatever it is that you are trying to fix to the wall and waste more time. Overall the plugs are great though so it gets 4 stars

We have used a lot of Fischer wallplugs and screws in our kitchen refit. Buying both together like this has made the choice of matching walplugs to screws easy and it has made attaching items to solid walls very easy. This is not a product to use with drywall/plasterboard.

Work extremely well and grip the drill hole tightly. Important to follow guidelines for drill bit size and hole depth shown on packaging.

Always use these for any type of hanging. So much better quality than just ones that come with products you buy. Sturdy/strong and so easy to install. Great value for money and even comes with screws

The best quality out there, works perfectly whether on a stud, plasterboard or brick walls. Everything else I tried before either breaks, falls off ( out or inside the wall) or too flimsy to hold any items that are heavier than just a shelf. We used this plug pretty much for everything! I recommend it without any hesitation
