Captain Fawcett Gentleman's Tipple Whisky Beard Oil 10ml

Very good, quality beard oil. Unfortunately it doesn't really smell of whisky, as the clove overpowers the entire mixture. It's still a very nice smelling oil, just not even close to whisky.

Normally I like Captain Fawcett's products, but I found this truly disappointing. Called 'The Gentleman's Tipple' on the bottle, you would expect that it would have a pleasant whisky-ish aroma. But no. Not a hint of it. I can only presume that the Gentleman in question had a toothache and was using oil of cloves as his tipple, because that's exactly what this product smells like. And not in a good way. It's really quite unpleasant. What's worse, unlike the lovely-smelling products which always seem to lose their aroma after a couple of hours, THIS smell lingers. Seriously, not even a hint of a proper 'tipple' aroma. I honestly can't recommend this unless you're specifically looking for a strong oil-of-cloves beard oil.

My absolute favorite beard oil by Captain Fawcett... Intoxicating fragrance.... Long lasting.

Como todos los productos de esta marca, 100% recomendable. Calman e hidratan la piel y te deja la barba suave y con un brillo muy natural. La absorción es buena y el sistema de pipeta muy preciso. El aceite es algo más denso que otros. En cuanto al olor a mí personalmente me encanta, al principio se perciben las notas del infusionado de whisky para luego dar paso a unas notas de canela y clavo que persisten a lo largo del día, dejando un aroma "avainillado" en la barba. He probado el Private Stock de esta marca y personalmente me gusta más este aroma, pese a ser algo muy subjetivo. Como con todos los productos de esta marca, el olor es muy duradero. Por propiedades y aroma es el mejor aceite que he probado hasta la fecha, lo único malo es el precio.

Bestes Bartöl überhaupt. Es hat seinen Zweck erfüllt, immer wenn ich es benutze schickt mich mein Chef direkt nach Hause, weil er denkt ich komme direkt aus der Kneipe und habe mich mit Whisky gewaschen da man hiermit riecht wie ein Alkoholiker der sich morgens mit Whisky wäscht.

He probado este aceite para mi bigote y la experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria. El aroma a whisky es sutil y elegante, aportando un toque distintivo sin resultar abrumador. La textura del aceite es ligera, lo que facilita su aplicación, dejando el bigote mas manejable y con un aspecto mucho más cuidado. Ideal para combinar con las ceras de la misma marca. Como contra toca hablar del precio, puede sentirse un poco elevado; aunque he de decir que la calidad y la experiencia hacen que en mi opinión merezca la pena.

I have been a fan of Captain Fawcett Beard Oil since I first tried the John Petrucci signature series Nebula beard oil, so I figured I would try out another beard oil from Captain Fawcett and this caught my eye. With "Whiskey" in the description I figured it would have had a oak type smell as most whiskey scented products do but it smells more like tea tree oil or pine. Which is too say that is has a strong overpowering smell. It's not bad by any means but it's just not for me. I will probably try another beard old from Captain Fawcett sometime but for now I will stick with the John Petrucci Nebula beard oil from Captain Fawcett.
