Brilliant for families! Each card has not one, not two, but SIX options to pick from, so usually even the little ones can land on at least one idea they can act out. A little elementary for the adults at times, this is perfect for a younger family on a screen-free day. Our family has a blast with this every time we play. We don't actually divide into teams or play for points as the directions suggest. We go more "guerrilla charades" where we just round-robin through all the participants (so everyone gets a turn.) Pull a card and go!

Holiday gift to my 8 year old granddaughter who would make up her own vision of charades prior to getting this. She is quite and actress. It's a great game for kids, not to hard but still a challenge. I walked into an on going game with her and her two older sisters, I was amazed watching the play. If you have a little actor or actress in your world, buy this game, they will love you forever, as my grand daughter has said to me.

I got this for my (now) 9 year old's birthday party! We surprised her after her party, with a sleepover! The girls had a blast! As their little eyes got tired they made on last ditch effort to stay awake. They broke out the Charades game and giggled for about and hour! A few of the clues are a little tough (those can be skipped) but my husband and I were there to help, the girls had a blast. Parents this would be (will be for us) a great game for the whole family!

Perfect family fun for a 8yo, 9yo, and a couple 40+ folks. The kids needed help understanding some of the cards (they were ideas or phrases that were way beyond their time, hence the 4/5 rating). Once one of the adults explained the card, the kids acted them out and the laughter and antics lasted as long as the timer and sometimes beyond. Two weeks later we're still cracking up about some of the clues we got and gave. Charades for Kids gave us a night of good, clean, family fun and we can't wait to play again!

Super fun for hotel time! We purchased this to keep the group of kids occupied in the hotel while on vacation. We always run out of stuff to do, and this kept them off electronic devices! It's a little too easy for adults, but perfect for kids around 7+. They need to be able to read so they can act it out, or with the little ones, the adults whispered it into their ears. Enough cars for a couple hours of fun!

Gifted to a grandchild who had never heard of this game. There is a good variety from simple to complex to act out. We don’t really follow the rules but loosely keep score. We’ve had a lot of laughs.

This is a really fun game to play with the family.

This is a great game but missed the mark for kids. As adults we only encountered a few words/phrases that posed some difficulty. "Running a marathon" as an example. Now imagine an 8 year old trying to think of a way to "act out" a 26.2 mile event. 80% of the time we had to coach the kids on how to act it out before they tried.My suggestion to the creators of the game. Take each word and explain to them how to act it out and see if they can do it. I'm pretty sure they're going have difficulty with things like "Blue Cheese" on their own. Seriously, how do you act out cheese as an 8 year old? I'd also suggest simply making the words/phrases more fun to act out. Kids like to be silly even when they're competing.Other examples - "catching a fish" (not fishing) - "soaking in a bath" (for kids??)
