Good value and a good sound
First off this guitar is not a National Reso-Phonic. It is also 1/6th the price. But it is a very nice guitar for the money. The guitar I received has a very nicely made body with no obvious flaws. When I received the guitar the strings were slack, so I tuned it to open D and adjusted the truss rod. The fretwork on the vintage style frets was also very good. The only issue it had was a little bit of a rough finish on the neck. A little 0000 steel wool took care of that. The sound is loud and perfect for delta type blues. You can also get the Mark Knopfler thing going too. I own guitars in all price ranges including a Regal, a Martin D-28 and a Taylor 814. This is a very nice instrument, especially at the price asked.
