Good for in a pinch
When it arrived I was happy to see it was in a cute little tin but it must have been a return item. It had punctures in the plastic. I had bought it in a hurry because my little cookie cutters have been misplaced with my move. Maybe it was only my set, but in order for the largest cookie cutter to fit they had to bend it. Since they are thin metal they can bend in and out of shape if not careful but with making the metals "pretty" and "even" it will no longer fit in the tin. I don't mind too much because the rest of them fit all right. They are sharp enough to make the little flowers I needed and the tarts that I made ended up turning out amazing. I would be careful with handwashing since you don't want to misshape them. They work great so far, not positive for longterm but if taken care of, I think it's a good purchase.

Cute little cookie cutters
I got these flower and butterfly mini cookie cutters to cut Tillamook sliced cheese with. They work fine for that. I've also found that they work great with gluten free roll-out cookies. Because of the gluten free dough, larger cut out cookies are easier to crumble after baking but these minis, which I would probably not want to use with wheat flour cookie dough, work really well. I'm looking around for different shapes now. One thing I'd read from other reviews is that you have to dry them carefully right after you wash them. If you leave them in the bottom of a wet sink or jumbled in a dish drainer for any period of time, they'll start to corrode. So I've always dried mine carefully right away after washing them, and I've had no problems.

Nice set
Really love these cutters for polymer clay. Good value and I love the different sizes (better options in the small ones than others I have). Prefer metal they cut better and easier to clean so that’s a plus. Only issue is some of the seams and curves are slightly off, but not that noticeable I’m just a perfectionist. Still love them

NICE SET...NO COLOR GUIDE?
I can see why some Folks don't like the Fox Run Flower and Butterfly 11 Piece Cookie Cutter Set, They are very small, Not for Cookies and I knew all of this, after reading your Reviews. I've got many Cookie Cutters: Tear Drops Butterflies Circles Animals Maple Leafs all kinds of Flowers...etc, however, this is Exactly what I was looking for, something small to give that special touch to Pies and CakesThey are well made Not Flimsy at all, I was very surprised, the only problem is the Set doesn't come with a Color Guide like in the Picture of the Item, without one is hard to put the Pieces back in the Tin...so what I did is very simple, I took a down shot Picture of the open Set, Print it half size, cut and insert it inside the Tin, now you have a Guide to put the Pieces back together! ... Because of the missing Color Guide it only gets four stars. Check my Pictures Posted, Thank You

Not for cookies
I use this set for cutting gum paste forms for cake decorating. For that purpose, they are excellent. They are sharp and make clean cuts. For a butterfly theme party, it gives you a good variety of butterflies (although a couple are more moth shaped than butterfly shaped). The flower part of the assortment isnot particularly inspiring, but one of the "flowers" is ctually sun-shaped which works for me because I didn't havea sun in my fondant cutter collection.I took a point off because good cutters have a sharp side and a rolled side to make it easy to work with. The rolled side of this set is still pretty sharp, making it uncomfortable to handle when you're trying to cut a lot of shapes.

Not very sturdy and out of shape
I love this set of flower cutters and that they are in a nice case to keep them safe. What I didn't know till I took one out was that there was a reason for the sturdy case. Every one of them was misshapen. They spring more into a scalloped oval when removed from their case. They aren't very sturdy, so I could kind of bend them right, but they didn't stay that way. Being confined to the case keeps them all perfect so you think they are right. Sad they aren't sturdier and in proper shape. If I keep them, I'll have to be very gentle with them and be trying to bend them round all the time.

These cookie cutters are fantastic! I was surprised about how small the smallest one actually is, but these are perfect for what I need them for. I recently picked up the interest in making my own fruit bouquets for loved ones as gifts, and I needed flower-shaped cutters. These are a little bit flimsy, but not bad... just be careful when using them because they could easily get bent out of shape.I love the tin they come in! It's so nice to be able to keep all the pieces together in one spot rather than just throw them in a drawer and end up with missing parts when you need them!

Liven up your lunch!
These were exactly what I wanted. I have another italian set of animal cutters that are just this size, so I knew they were small. I bought them for bento for lunches and they are perfect for cutting out cheese, lunch meat, carrot slices, apple slices, even mango (I turn them over when partially cut through, and press against the metal cutting edge with my finger, which makes a nice neat cut all the way around). My son will eat a bunch of flowers and butterfly pieces of cucumber, apple and carrot, and they look adorable on a salad, sandwich, or spread across his bento lunch box. I also use the edges of the flowers to cut little notches into slices of meat and fruit to make larger flowers.I would give a 5, except as others have noted, they will rust if you don't dry them. Wash them all off right away, and toss them in a towel or paper towel and leave them out to dry before putting them away. I have found all metal cutters have this issue, esp small ones.Oh, and last hint: when cutting out things, use a small skewer, edge of a spoon or whatnot to push out the wee bits so they don't stay stuck in the cutter and tear off when you remove them.I will be buying more of this size for wee bites, in different shapes. Excellent product.

Many flower and butterfly shapes
So many options available to select from. I use for clay projects and found I needed to make a few minor adjustments to straight edges. Once adjustments made, I know that perfect for next project. I recommend the product and the seller.

Too small
The cutters are too small and their edges make it extremely difficult to actually cut anything. If you want frustration and to end up throwing them out in a fit of rage, go ahead and buy them.Oh, they're also extremely difficult to clean and they rust in the dishwasher
