Great
The is a must for the text. It has great excersises and with the teacher's guide, it makes learning better. This series is a simple start to learning the wonderful language of Latin.

Excellent. A classical program that works.
I bought this program for my 12 yr-old daughter, as a supplement to Henle latin. She had been studying Henle for a year, mostly on her own, and was getting bogged down in the monotony of exercise after exercise. Cambridge, with it's fun story-line and historical component, is a nice suppelement, and has gotten her interested in her Latin studies again. Sometimes, a different approach to the same material is just the ticket for better retention. Cambridge has done that for us.

Good resource for the good price
Nice book to do written Latin exercices. There was reference to audio recordings that I did not have, but few.

Challenging but enjoyable
In the book "On Politics", the author used many Latin phrases. I never studied Latin in high school (over 40 years ago). But all those phrases gave me an interest in learning the language. Since this is not a required course, I can learn at my leisure. The book tells a story. This is quite a draw since it is something like a soap opera. I want to know what will happen next. I will never be good at Latin but I am enjoying the process.

Home schooled daughter LOVES this course
My home-schooled daughter loves the way learning Latin is presented by Cambridge. It works great for her, she is 15. Nice paper quality. Good typeface. Charming and interesting stories. Cover is a nice bright red color. Purchased with the corresponding workbook.

I liked this book becuse of the tereffic illustrations and clear meanings. would recommend to 5th~6th grade students. Compared to other latin books, this was the easiest.Thanks!

Just purchased, haven't used it yet.
My son hasn't begun using this unit of study yet, but I am impressed with the layout and content for the most part. I think the labelling of the workbook is a bit confusing as in I am not entirely sure what matches up with the exercises from the text book. Perhaps this will all become clear once he begins the unit.

This book does not have any answers. You must buy yet another book with the answers. The description doesn't tell you this or I missed it but I'm sure it is not there.
