New York Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick, Coral Burst, 0.15 Ounce

i order this lipstick and it came before the actual shipping time. I really enjoy wearing Maybelline lipsticks and mascaras. This Orchid Ecstasy is really pretty I was hoping for a deeper fushia color but it's more than fine. The moisture on this lipstick is excellent and very smooth. Only semi-fail is that it doesn't stay on long. I mixed it with a Covergirl lipstick to get the desired color I was looking for. It's very light and sheer not a deep pigmentation but I will not take any stars away for that...just the longevity.

I've been dying for a lavender lipstick that was affordable (though I'll probably still collect the niche lipsticks because I love lavender lippies) and I was sort of shocked that a "drugstore" brand came through. It's ACTUALLY lavender instead of a mauve that they call lavender. It's a nice creamy formula though it's not transfer-proof so you'd need to reapply if you ate, etc. It feels nicely moisturizing without being sticky. If you prefer matte, it's pretty simple to matte out any lipstick with a bit of cornstarch or translucent powder. Basically, the formula is a nice, standard creme lipstick so I mainly wanted to rave about the color. I think this color would work on any complexion from super pale (me) to very dark (it would be stunning and very vibrant on dark complexions!). If you want something a bit more exciting than your usual colors without being crazy out there, this is the perfect shade.

The color is very pretty but was not quite what I expected, much pearlier than I normally wear appearing almost silver on the lips. Since it's not a "long lasting" lipstick I found the longevity similar to what you'd expect in a lipstick. It's nice and creamy and goes on smoothly but I found the taste much stronger than lipsticks that I'm used to.

Mine arrived in a huge box for one lipstick, and the protective bubble wrap had come off. It's a miracle it was in one piece at all. I opened it up and there was a hair stuck to the end, like from a brush. This lipstick has been used. It appears to have been half way sanitized, but it's obvious that someone probably sent it back and it got resold. So I didn't try it on my lips. I did swatch it on my arm, and it WOULD be a pretty shade if there were more pigment. It's very sheer, and on the lips I have my doubts that it would do much at all. I didn't have high hopes for this because of the price and other reviews, but I needed to spend about $4 more so I got it. I cant deal with used makeup, though, and I'm sending this back.

I really like this color. If you apply just one coat it's sheer but still colorful. It's not a lavender, light purple sort of lilac exactly but leans more toward the pinky lilac color family if that makes sense. I got a purple lipstick that I love but it's too dark for me. If I apply this on top, it's perfect! This goes on smooth and feels good on my lips. It didn't bleed at all. It's light and the taste is more neutral than some so I don't mind wearing it. I thought it stayed on fine. After eating or drinking, I did have to reapply but so? You have to do that with most lipsticks that aren't stains so I'm not bothered by it. My only complaint and the reason it gets only 4 stars is I don't like how the cover of the tube goes clear down to the base of the lipstick. You have to clench your fingers around the very bottom of the tube and then tug the top off with your other hand and I find myself fumbling with it. Most lipsticks have a cover that ends halfway down the tube. Those are easier to open in my opinion. This is kind of minor and I wouldn't let it keep me from buying but to some who have arthritis etc, this is harder to open and I noticed that it's very hard to open with only one hand when compared to the tubes that have a shorter cover. I would buy this again and wouldn't mind trying some of the other colors as well.

This is a nice shade, actually this pink shade looks nice on lips, maybe with white skin I would say It will match OK, the lipstick is affordable so that is a plus, the application is creamy and smooth it really glides over your lip. The texture is very nice, but do have to re-apply throughout the day. Not sure about any lipstick, where you do not re-apply. Not too shiny or too matt, makes a good look. If you want something to moisten, glides easily and has just a bit of color, then you will like this lipstick. Highly recommended.

This shade of pink/lavender is trendy but difficult to find in stores. Delighted I could order it from Amazon. The product arrived on a timely basis. It is unique and long-lasting, very moist and a beautiful color.
