Is this dishwasher safe?

No. You cannot put any wood/bamboo products in the dishwasher. The heat and pressure will damage the wood. Likewise, you should not leave wooden products to soak in the sink for the same reasons. Nevertheless, these Organicook chopping boards being made from 'Mao' Bamboo, are very quick and easy to clean in the sink. Furthermore, tests (by the University of Michigan) have shown that the physical scrubbing action of washing by hand gets wooden/bamboo products cleaner than if they or their plastic alternatives are put in the dishwasher. Many thanks for your enquiry and kind regards, Phil

is this suitable for carving beef?

Yes, it is suitable for cutting, chopping and carving all types of meat, fruit and vegetables. The drip groove is particularly useful for containing juices. The gripper feet stop the board sliding whist carving and the handles help with moving to and fromantic the table. Kind regards, Phil

Can you knead bread Dow on this board?

Yes, this board is suitable for all food preparation purposes. Kind regards, Phil

Is the board resistant from knife scars?

Knife marks will show as with all wooden chopping boards. However, bamboo is far more resistant and durable than any other wood, yet has the incredible ability to not blunt knives. We actually like the fact that the board marks a little with use as it becomes unique to you, telling it's own story in your kitchen. Thank you for your interest, Phil
