Great for beginners or light weight usage
Perfect for what I needed it for it doesn’t take up a lot of space and is very basic to do basic compound lifts like squat and bench and pull ups but I would not load it up with more than 300 lbs max because it is not built for that it’s built for lighter weights for someone who is just starting out or someone who is old like me who doesn’t need to go heavy anymore it is stable enough for lighter weights it never feels like it is gonna topple it was easy to assemble it does tend to scratch pretty easily it’s not that thick but feels rigid enough overall it’s a great buy for the price if you just need something to start or maintain some form of resistance training.

You get what you pay for
About what one would expect for a $100 rack. Was easy to assemble. its a little wobbly which doesnt surprise me. I bought this solely so i could have a pull up bar on my back porch, i wish it were taller. Im 5’8” and can grip the bar without standing flat footed. The fact that i cant freely hang (must point legs and toes forward to bring them off the ground) and add in that its wobbly—makes pull ups on this pretty difficult if you ask me. At least if youre trying to do strict and proper pull ups (full range of motion, legs together and body rigid, not with legs crossed and behind your body). But overall it serves its purpose as a pull up bar.

Great price, just what I wanted
Very nice at-home rack. It’s very basic but gets the job done. I love the color options. It’s not the sturdiest, so no kipping pull-ups, but other than that it does exactly what I need it to. There’s holes for you to bolt it to the ground if you want, not sure how much more sturdy it would be. Many pieces to assemble it, but it’s stayed together so far. The pack of bolts must have busted open in transit because they were all over the box when I opened it and I was a few nuts short. Luckily my dad had some in the garage that fit so it worked out. I like the bar sleeve and little bit of plate storage in the back, very convenient. If you need a rack to hold your bar for squats or bench presses and strict pull-ups on a budget, then here you go. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much room. It’s light enough that I can move it to wear I need it to be after being assembled.

Product
I have had this set for two years now. And I love it very durable. The products are very heavy duty. Still no scratches on the product after using it for two years, just shows how well-made this was. I am 511 155 pounds, I don’t lift very heavy. I think my max bench is 220. But this can hold a lot more Believe it or not so if you’re looking for a good price , durability, longevity this is a great purchase.

Quality Set up
Great product for price. Had my personal trainer suggest this and it’s been perfect. I would say pay the extra add on for the Olympic weight rack on the back makes it much more stable and made me feel more comfortable. Easy assembly. CAP is a reliable brand for budget friendly stuff.

Only simple bar I can find
I love that there aren’t 20 other things on this. It’s a simple pull-up bar that allows me to move freely without banging my feet on some unwanted addition. I wish other manufacturers knew that when we buy a pull-up bar, we just want a pull-up bar. Not a “station”. I’ve had it for years now and it is still just as sturdy.

Great option, requires tweaking... 3.5 stars
Okay, the price is right. We’re doing squats, presses, pulls etc. The whole family uses it. It’s versatile and we’re getting our money’s worth. Lots of shortcomings though, but truly hard to beat considering the cost. So, what are the shortcomings? For folks over 5’ 10”, it’s really too short. We remedied this by bolting 4” squares underneath to add some height. If you get some good lumber that’s straight and true, it’ll add weight and stabilize the thing. Next, there’s a bolted joint right in the middle of the post, about where you really want to place the bar rack hooks. That joint and those fasteners render 5 inches of the posts pretty much useless. And that useless area is right in my sweet spot for bench presses. Again, putting some lumber under the legs helps move that spot. Now the rack hooks - you’ll have to cut up an old mat and use a bit of glue to improvise some padding, otherwise your bar’s going to get chewed up. I bought the optional safety bars - these didn’t exactly fit the rack and shifted under loading. They were very cheaply made (they have padding but need more) and required a little reworking with a vice and Dremel tool to get them to fit the posts properly. This is not to say that they are unsafe. Once tweaked, they hold the weight of a loaded bar and will work in an emergency. Oh, and about the Dremel tool. There’s plenty of little rough edges on this thing. I got a few bites! Just go over them with your Dremel or a sanding block. All in all, its a very economical option, especially for folks outside the lower 48 of the US where shipping is the issue. Bear in mind, though you’ll need to fiddle with it to make it work for you.

Awesome rack for the price
For the price the squat rack is pretty awesome! I'm middle-aged and new to lifting weights again after many years off, this will suit my needs for some time to come! You will need a 7 foot long barbell, I had a 6 foot barbell and it was too small for the rack!I recommend this item!

Not too shabby
Good but of kit, easy to assemble and works how it should.Only downside is bolts are in the way for j hooks to go at the right height for incline press.
