Lets be honest the Dreamcast is a great system but the controller cables are way to short. I bought this cable and that all changed. It will triple the length of your current cable allowing you to relax on the couch and play your favorite games. Also acts as a secondary breakaway cable and is very well designed.

Seems to work OK, but you’ll have to tape the extension end into the controller to keep them together.

For some reason I expected to receive 2 cords with this purchase, so I was a little bummed when only one arrived, but it works just fine.

This is a must have item for Dreamcast owners. Cable fits perfectly, very easy to remove and plug in to the console unlike other extension cables that are too large and stick to the sides of the controller port.

This is a much needed accessory to have for any Dreamcast owner. As any avid Dreamcast owner will tell you, cable on the standard Dreamcast controller is pathetically short, unless you want to sit on the floor three feet from the television. This extension cable allows me to sit where I want to sit, and that makes it perfect.

Picked this up so I could sit back and play my old Dreamcast without having to sit on top of the TV. I would recommend this to anyone who has this fantastic old system.

A very poor quality reproduction item. Cable is flimsy and doesn't hold in the controller cable well at all, so it pops out when playing. Avoid this item!

Extension cables are cheap and work well with Sega Dreamcast pheriphals.
