Looks exactly as described. Works as it should. I get lots of comments about how cool my keyboard looks and how I got it to look like that. Now, I still have to learn all the shortcuts it suggests -- but now I have the ability to.

The Mac Shortcuts has taken much of the mystery out of the Mac keyboard for me. It is color coded for easy recognition that is divided into four basic colors: Green is for primary shortcuts such as reload page or new tab; pink is for finder such as view as list or view as icon; green is safari such as reload page or new tab; orange is iWork's/Mail/MS Office such as underline or bold. The remaining keys are blackened clearly readable. It is a thinner version of the material used in grips to open tight bottle caps. looks great. i love the silky feeling, but whenever i type i feel as if i'm not pressing keys all the way. but keeps silent when i type so good and bad, both i guess.

Bought it for my 15" Macbook Pro (Retina) and its pretty nice (people have given me compliments on it), but its rather difficult to type with it on in the beginning (you get used to it though), and the shortcuts are actually pretty cool. The one complaint I have is that it doesn't fit perfectly onto the keyboard; its just a bit too long, so there's always a certain region of the keyboard that just has this gap of space.

I purchased two. One for me and one for my daughter. She had her monitor full of all kinds of reminders. I can see a complete difference in her confidence when she is working. Not only that it keeps spills out of the keyboard. Simply perfect.

I really like the idea behind this skin, however, I don't know if it is just me or if it is a universal problem, but my keys are scratched off and hard to read. Great idea but not effective without the writing on the keys. I included a picture for you to see that the most frequently used keys are the most worn away. If you are very careful this may be useful for you. Not so much for me anymore.

I was a bit skeptical when I first received this. It cane in a sealed package with no instructions. Basically, you just overlay the keyboard skin on top of your current keyboard. Nothing else to it. Because its silicone it adheres and doesn't slide off - even when you turn your laptop upside down (tested!). PRO's: The silicone fits perfectly to the keyboard on my 15" Macbook Pro with Retina Display. The shortcuts listed on it are spot on and very useful! CON's: When typing there is a bit of an extra clicking sound from the silicone keys in the corners. I'm not sure if that's based on how fast I type or the way its made combined with the placement/pressure used on the keys. Overall, I like the cover. It does exactly what it says it will - protect your keyboard and provide shortcuts for the MAC OS. Not sure how long I'll keep it on though. The extra clicking is a bit annoying and the feel of the keys is a bid odd. The keys feel soft with a powdery type texture that reminds me of a surgical glove on the inside (the powder inside type) or how your hands feel after you rub chalk on them to play pool.
