Held in place for a over a year without falling once.
Update: this thing proved to be way better than I expected. I didn't add any type of adhesive or anything, and the shelf held in place until I moved. Not even a basket ever fell. Definitely worth the price. At first glance it appears like a nice product. It assembled easily and the instructions are easy to follow. It is very very tall and difficult to maneuver while installing as the poles fall apart from each other so easily and the baskets rest on split silicone rings so the whole thing has a tendency to disassemble itself. It was too tall for my shower even compressing the spring as much as possible. I tried using it without the short bottom pole, and it was too short. I ended up sawing about 6” off the bottom short pole to get it to fit. Once it it’s under a good amount of tension, but the point of contact on the ceiling is so small that it is far from sturdy. The areas of connection are clear weak spots, and the whole things just feels flimsy. As soon as I put some weight in the baskets, you can tell it won’t stay up. I’ll be using some waterproof adhesive tape to attach it to the tile, then I think it will be great. not sure it was worth all the extra work but the price is so low that maybe it was.

Sturdy with TONS of Shelf Space
This is a pretty decently built unit. It arrives with one deep dish basket3 1/2inches deep and 3 that are 2 1/2 inches deep. The baskets are built solidly enough that they are not going to easily bend or break with daily use, even if it is a bit rough. In other words unit does not have to be “babied”. Each shelf is wide enough.. (from front to wall side) to hold the very large 33.8 oz bottles of whatever.. Mine are Redkin shampoo and conditioners just to give you an idea.. they’re BIG. The shelves can be put at whatever spacing you want. The manufacturer suggests you put the deepest dish on bottom.. which makes sense if you are using it for the heaviest items. My only complaint, is the little plastic rings that you slide on the pole and then push the badkets over the ring to hold the badket in place. They just suck. They absolutely work, don’t get me wrong.. they are just a pain to use. They are not a solid circle, like I am used to. These are very nice.. wide and thick.. but since they are open on one side.. just barely.. I had a harder time getting the ring to stay level while sliding the basket down onto it. Not a problem that I would call a contractor to take care of for me.. or even my husband.. just different than what I am used to, and therefore a little more difficult. This is a great unit though if you want something sturdy, that has a deep enough bin with a great wraparound badket so things do not tip over or constantly fall out. I bought 2 of these, and will definitely buy again when needed. Highly recommend

First impressions are great, be sure to measure your tub space.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS (1 week in): So far we're enjoying this caddy, it's a great replacement for the standard "hanging from the shower" version and holds all of our stuff (the deep basket is wide enough to hold a full-size Dr. Bronner's soap). It was fairly easy to put together, fit into our shower easily without having to cut any of the poles down to size, and saves a bunch of space. I transferred the razor-holder from my last caddy as this doesn't come with one, but since they're wire baskets I assume you could attach all manner of mods to it (we attached ours with a wire tie).As for how it holds up to rust and grime, I'll try to update in a few months, but I have high hopes for now!EDIT JUNE 30 2017: Still working pretty well. You have to clean grime once in a great while, but it's been delightfully free of rust. HOWEVER, I have to take it down a star because one of the stents holding up one of the shelves had broken, leaving me trying to figure out how to stuff it back in and hold up the shelf. Replacements or alternatives would be appreciated.EDIT EARLY 2018: I should have actually updated in 2017, but wanted to make sure this got out there. A basket fell down around October, and it's a bit of a pain to try getting it set up so it doesn't slip again. This isn't really a complaint, but I do warn all new purchasers to really check how the rubber collars are set, and maybe put a little putty or glue in there? It did hold up for two years so I'm still very happy with it.

A Solution for Your Bath & Shower Storage Needs
I had never seen one of these before I moved in to my last apartment three years ago - what a perfect solution to a common problem. With roommates, especially, you can end up with a lot of products in the shower - multiple soaps, conditioners, body washes, salt scrubs, loofahs, razors, etc. I like that there isn't any installation required other than to put the tension rod in place so it is apartment-friendly. Reading reviews of all of the various options out there for these caddies I realize that there is a decent chance that this will end up rusting eventually, but I'm willing to pay to replace this from time to time for the convenience and amount of items it can hold. So far I've been using it for two months and I have no problems to report. When it came time to move into a new apartment there was no doubt that I would be purchasing a tension pole corner caddy for the bathroom. The entire thing was very easy to assemble; it was easy to place the baskets where I wanted them and with some help from my bf we were able to get the caddy in place within a couple of minutes. The tension in the bar is so strong that it would have been a little hard for me to get it in place on my own, though not impossible. Having a second person helps so one of you can stand back and let the other know when the placement is straight between the ceiling and tub (or floor).I much prefer this type of organizer in the shower to the type that hang over your shower head. By placing this in the back corner of the tub I don't have to reach through a stream of running water to get at what I need, and it holds a lot of stuff. My bar of soap doesn't get eroded by a constant stream of water washing over it every time someone showers, so the soap lasts longer. If you're considering getting this for your bathroom, I wouldn't hesitate. It does exactly what it's supposed to.
