De'Longhi Tasciugo AriaDry DX10.WGY Dehumidifier, 10 Litre, White

I've had a DeLonghi DEM10 for years. I simply wanted to buy another one but it seems that model has been phased out. The closest to it appeared to be DX10 so bought this instead. Apart from the fact that it's a much nicer colour (got the navy blue one!) it's actually an improvement in several ways - the control knob has a very satisfying feel in operation (you need to try it to know what I mean!) The indicator lights are better. The air input has an accessible filter that you can unclip to access and clean and just generally it looks sleeker. Have used it for several weeks now and it's doing a sterling job which is all you can hope for in a dehumidifier. We use it because we have to dry clothes in doors and when it is used it prevents condensation build up on the windows in the cold mornings. So clearly works very well indeed.

I live in a place where the RH ranges from 80-90%. Because of this, anything leather that exists inside the guest room keeps getting mouldy no matter what I do. Bought this in a last ditch attempt to control the mould, and so far it has been doing pretty well for the past 2 weeks! I leave it on for 12 hours daily at the second level (I have no idea each level refers to what RH) which always results in the tank being 80% full. Pros: Size is pretty compact I would have to say, about the size of a medium backpack, doesn't occupy too much space. Helps with the portability. Pretty quiet, the low hum when the fan is moving isn't an issue for me Cons: The humidistat appears to only have 3 levels, so I'm not sure if anything works in between Feels like it will not run at the lowest setting, even when my RH is at 80%. I always have to set it to the middle setting

My DeLonghi Dem10 broke down after 6 years of constant use so I replaced it with this, which is just as efficient and easy to use. Perfect for my small flat and dries a full rack of clothes in less than 24hrs. Excellent value for money, quick delivery and fantastic product. Highly recommended

This is a nice looking machine. It is fairly quiet but not "silent" as the packaging suggests. In the daytime it is hardly noticeable but in the silence of the night it has a distinctive quiet hum. (Do check the volume of the room(s) when purchasing a dehumidifier.) Seems efficient at reducing the humidity, with three normal humidistat settings at 40%, 50% & 60%. There is also a setting for drying clothes. Unfortunately the machine we received had a faulty humidistat meaning that it didn't cut-off when the desired humidity had been reached and therefore had to be returned. As expected the return was dealt with promptly and efficiently by Amazon. Five stars if it hadn't been defective.

Great device, extracts lots of moisture, I’m using this just outside my bathroom. I leave the door ajar and have it running all day usually switching on in the morning after being in the shower. It has helped a lot with keeping mould growth at bay in my bathroom - which is an internal room with no window. I recently noticed that no water had been collecting in the tank but realised it was because I had it sitting too close to a cupboard door, there needs to be an ample gap between the dehumidifier and any surfaces to allow the moist air to be drawn in.

Right out the box, about a minute after switching, presumbaly when the compressor kicked in, it started to make a noise like a bus engine idling (as one of the other reviewers described it very aptly). This seems to be the fault that some other people have had develop after a few weeks; except it was there from the very start. You could hear it loudly through a closed door, although putting two doors between you and it helped. I certainly wouldn't decribe it as the advertised "quiet". Otherwise it seems nice and portable; the plastic finish is a bit cheap feeling. But I'm returning it to Amazon and will try a different brand.

Really easy to use, and works very well. Just plug it in and press the on/off button and leave it to do its thing. You can if you want, change the humidity level from 3 levels. I just left it to run at the default "clothes drying" level. I have this plugged into a plug in electronic timer switch with a count-down mode. Since the dehumidifier always revert to its last setting whenever mains power comes on, I can just press the count down button on my plug in timer to run this for a few hours at a time, which I use to help dry clothes indoors - great for hayfever sufferers who have to dry their clothes indoors but don't want to or don't have a tumble dryer. On the first use, I checked the water tank after an hour and it's already sucked up a mug full of water from the air! You can also unscrew a little bung on the back and attach a supplied (but short) hose for the water to drain directly out. I just use the water tank which isn't too much hassle to empty. The design of the unit is quite neat with its smooth curved sides, the plastic doesn't feel cheap nor smell which is a relief.

This works very well for drying clothes and excellent in that factor, however on the low setting, I was informed by delonghi that it cuts out when it's reached its humidity, as per instructions. I own a delonghi dehumidifier from 2009 DES12, which when on low settings cuts of at intervals or when humidity is reached. However this one does not and continually stays on, I am on my second one after an exchange, and still same issue. I have tested it for hours, and still not hearing it automatically turn of. As for being quiet like many people suggest, I find my DES12 from 2009 quieter. I thought I was buying an upgraded model, but apears to be a downgrade. I may be doing another exchange soon.

Die Reduzierung der Luftfeuchtigkeit, die vorher zu Schimmelbildung und Holzzerstörung im zweistöckigen Wintergarten gefürht hatte, erspart das täglich bis zu dreimalig zu absolvierenden Fensterwischen bis auf einmal die Woche. Das war der erhoffte Effekt, dieser ist eingetreten. Sehr zu empfehlen, da relativ leise und kompakt.

Très efficace dans une pièce de 12 m2. Fonction buanderie pratique, tout comme le récupérateur d'eau transparant sur le côté de l'appareil. La première commande que j'ai reçu était incomplète, il manquait des accessoires dans la boite. Bravo au SAV amazon qui a réagit au plus vite avec l'envoi d'un nouvel appareil.

Ha fatto egregiamente il suo lavoro in questi anni, toglie l'umidità dalle stanze e asciuga accappatoi e asciugamani in bagno dopo le docce. È diventato un po' rumoroso ma ha 5 anni e mi da ancora soddisfazioni. Grazie.

Comprato a gennaio e dopo 4 mesi devo solo che elogiare la delonghi per questo prodotto, silenzioso, leggero, compatto e funziona benissimo la funzione per asciugare i vestiti.
