No car expert here but the back of my captain chair in my sequoia kept falling off. I purchased this kid and have had 0 problems since! The plastic tools are not very strong but I didn’t need them. The kit I got was the cheapest/smallest of the offers and the one metal tool was all I needed for my project. There were so many varieties in this pack that it was easy to pick the best option. The tool made it easy to complete my project without my husbands help. I love that the kit was organized. It helped pick the right fit for what I needed. All in all this was the best money I have spent for a quick fix done right. I don’t have a before photo (forgot) but looking at the after you’d never know it was falling off.

If missing carpet and panel retainer clips bothers you as much as it does me and want to fix your problem I would highly recommend one of these universal kits. They are just as rigid and durable as OEM clips, and appearance is very similar as well. Normally I wouldn’t give something like this 5 stars, but I have already used three different size retainers, and multiples of them, and I am pretty sure I will use more in the future.
