House of Silk Flowers Artificial Succulent in Stone Cube, Green/Burgundy

This was purchased to sit on a coffee table - to be viewed from close up. From what I could see of this product, it looked like what it was - plastic. The plant was not lifelike, but might have been more convincing if viewed from a distance. I was willing to give things a try if I could see the arrangement on the table, but it was impossible to remove the product from the packaging without destroying the packaging. They ship the product in a box within a bigger box. They put the arrangement in a plastic bag, spray foam in the bottom of the smaller box, and sink the bagged arrangement in the foam. All this hardens and makes for a stable way to ship things. They put the small, very stable box in a bigger box and ship. Since I was pretty sure I didn't like the "plants" from what I could see of the top leaves, I repacked the box and sent it back. I have no idea if the container was attractive or not. I would say that they have a good method of shipping, but if you don't want to keep the product, you'll have to supply your own return materials because you'll break away the shipping box and the foam. I suppose you'll even have to buy a can of spray foam if you decide to return. Otherwise it might be damaged on the return trip. The arrangement is so heavy, it will surely bounce around and suffer damage. One other minor issue: The smaller, internal box was marked THIS SIDE UP, but it was shipped lying on it's side, inside of a bigger box.
