Interesting and Fun Novelty
Very simple and effective slingshot, and is akin to a bb gun at times. It fires slingshot ammo like a bb gun (but larger ammo) very easily; will easily go through cardboard unless using a material that isnโt dense like wood, and could probably penetrate skin of most animals but the accuracy isnโt there so I donโt recommend it for hunting or assault. Presumably good for vandalism but I donโt advise you use it for that. Steel balls work best but clay balls are much cheaper and less of a nuisance to the environment, while wood balls *probably* arenโt particularly dangerous and a bit cheaper than steel ones, but the slingshot can fire rocks well and other small items, especially spherical in shape.

it's only 1 component of when TSHTF ...
FIRST, don't bother with the cheap knockoff's. I thought I got ripped off because of the HUGE price difference between a USA made and the Temu knockoff.. I am so glad my first experience was with a real pocket shot. I got the real one and found it mostly accurate. It wont beat a real sling shot in accuracy, but in survival, it packs real small, easy to cary, and deadly if you practice using it. And the TSA will let you take it on a plane.. it will take down a rabbit at 20 ft... If you can hit it. It does take some practice. you have to shoot instinctive .. like the old west shooting from the hip. I thought I could get some on the cheep, forget it. When you pull a real one, there is A. LOT. OF. force needed, you want the projectile to be going fast when the rock breaks the rabbits skull for a humane dinner. The knockoff's use rubber that I could throw a rock faster bare handed, without a shepherds sling.. Learn how David killed Golith ... In survival mode, bow, sling and atlatl skills will feed the family.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I like the compactness and ease of use and it will take time to perfect shooting...and I agree with "Joe" who noted with steel ammo you can crack the ring if not released correctly and I've seen that on the you tube videos too.. What I noticed right away the latex had fine cracks around the ring of the black pouch without ever trying it....don't know if I got a defective one or what.......but they don't seem that tough...and they state avoid water and getting it wet,,,.Was wondering if they ever thought of using silicone rubber instead of latex for durability and strength....The price seems a little high for just 2 pouches and they aren't indestructible, the collar or pouches for USA made, but it is a nice idea and design,, room for improvement though...... FOLLOW UP....The nice people at Pocket Shot want their customers to be happy and were kind enough to send me replacement pouches and a improved ring...The new pouches were free of any fine cracks and the new ring is more durable and better constructed as I was able to screw the collar on easily by hand without any drag like the org. one....and a few practice shots with steel ammo, no nicks or cracks so far.....

Powerful, quick to use, and impressive
Cannot believe how powerful this slingshot is. More powerful than pretty much any other slingshot I have, including the 6 band ones. It is more difficult to aim than a traditional slingshot and takes a little practice to get used to it, but worth the effort. I actually prefer firing it from around waist level. John Wayne lever action style... In addition to the power, is the simplicity of use. Just drop in a ball, pull back, and let go. Shots can be taken really quickly. While shooting this at a person would potentially cause serious injury or even death; as a self defense device, it could be employed much faster than a traditional slingshot. Based on the materials used (a couple plastic rings and a rubber tube) the device is expensive. However, they came up with the design and it is impressive. So, I guess they can charge whatever they want. Would I buy another one? Absolutely.

Performed well for the first hour or so UNTIL...
Just got my Pocket Shot today along with 2 packages of 3/8 and 1 package of 1/4 steel slingshot ammo. The Pocket Shot provided all the power and eas of use that it advertised, and right away I was able to hit a 9inch by 9 inch box from 30 feet away pretty regularly. I then tried shooting at a beer can with limited success. It felt a bit like luck when I hit it, but was very satisfying. On the DOWNSIDE, both pouches developed holes in them within the first hour or so (see photo below). I was trying to pinch "above" the ball, as instructed in the Pocket Shot youtube videos, but the holes developed rapidly anyway. I have used probably 30 of the 3/8 and 100 of the 1/4 ammo, so the longevity of the pouches should be considered. Looks like you may have to buy many, many extra pouches if you want to shoot this regularly. I am going to give the Pocket Shot 3 stars because of this. If the pouches would have lasted, I would have given 5 stars easily, because the product does exactly as advertised. Knocking it down 2 stars may seem harsh, but nobody wants to have to keep ordering replacement parts every single day for something like this, and it could be especially devastating in a survival situation.

Surprisingly powerful
First off, for everyone saying you can make something like this at home, you're right. However it will be no where near as durable and powerful AND accurate as this beast. This thing comes with two pouches, a black pouch, and a blue pro pouch. The pro pouch is thicker latex/rubber/whatever material they used, and is harder to pull back but does far more damage than the black pouch. The black pouch is easier to pull back (I suggest you use this when you first get it) and doesn't go as fast as the pro pouch. There is a on how to aim this things, link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FWwuRje0GQ Pros: Incredibly powerful surprisingly accurate (with practice) Durable Super compact (like it says, it fits in your pocket) Water tight cap to hold ammo, water, pretty much anything small enough. Shoots Paint balls, lead/steel balls, marbles, smooth rocks, and air-soft pellets (faster than my air-soft gun) and other small round objects Cons: Practice makes perfect, I recommend you get lots of ammo to practice with (WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES, THIS THING RICOCHETS) Hard to pull back at first It's awkward to aim this thing at first, but like I said practice makes perfect Unless you can find some really smooth rocks you shouldn't shoot them. (jagged rocks can cut latex) There's not much modding you can do to this slingshot. Sidenote: Please, please, PLEASE watch that video, shooting for newbies. It will help you learn how to properly aim it without shooting your wrists like I did. Overall this things pretty awesome, i'd recommend buying item.

It is super fun. Then I had a desired to shoot ...
I just got my pocket shot and started shooting right away. It is super fun. Then I had a desired to shoot some rocks in my yard that were small at a old gallon of water. A couple of rocks later and I bumped my had which hurt for a bit but I also noticed a super tiny hole in the latex. I was kinda scared for it and dis some research and found out that this is common. This tended to happen over time and it is OKAY as long as you don't have to many ( we will say 8 ish ). In the end I recommend that you just shoot the metal balls and paint balls.

A detailed Pocket Shot review
Overall a pretty good purchase! I got mine a few days ago and I've already used it a lot. The pouch wearing is a real thing, although after going through about 200 mini marshmallows/airsoftBB's/daisy slingshot ammo it hasn't broken yet, it wears on the outside of the pouch from rubbing against your fingers when you pull back and let it go. If the pouch breaks, you can get a replacement pouch for it. For ammo I use the Daisy Powerline 1/4 in. premium steel slingshot ammo, perfect size and a ball can go 350 FPS if shot correctly. It seems hard to shoot at first but when you get used to it you can shoot accurately and with a lot of power! When it comes it has the pocket shot that already has a black 300 FPS pouch on it, but includes a blue pro pouch that shoots up to 350 FPS. The difference is the black pouch is less powerful but more durable. Mini Marshmallows are a MUST HAVE to shoot with it. I've shot half of a bag of them already and they go about 20 yds. on a good shot. Perfect for a marshmallow war. Small game? Maybe Self Defense? No Target practice? Yes Paintball? No Airsoft? Yes Marshmallows? Yes Shooting for the fun of shooting? YES

Awesome survival tool...
This is an awesome tool/weapon and should be taken accordingly. I repeat, this is not a toy. Achieved around 350 feet per second with a 1/4 inch steel ball. Passed through two carboard boxes to finish inside a wooden door. Power was incredible and precision is good on soda can up to 20-25 feet. Can shoot further, up to 40 feet but on 12 inches cardboards... Worth every dollars.

The future of the slingshot!
This is the best and coolest slingshot ever!!! It works so well! I wish it came with two of each pouch instead of just one. I also think it's a bit expensive (although I feel one should support the original creator instead of just getting cheap knock-offs). I also wish they offered cheap packs of practice pouches... ones that are meant for indoor use with wool felt balls (indoor slingshot ammo).

Awesome but is it worth the price
I love this product but a thing i got to add is that id it worth the price. Well it does come with a pro pouch aswell as a normal latex pouch but still. I payed 50$ for this product(1 day shipping) and i just got to say that yes it is fun yo use and have that 50$ or 40$ could have went to something beter. It is extreamly well made and you can tell someone put alot of the time in designing it. Thatvis why i rated it 4 stars.

It's fun and fits in a pocket as advertised
It's fun and fits in a pocket as advertised, but the black pouch start tearing after only about 10-20 shots (shooting mostly ball bearings, but a few smooth pebbles). The black pouch seems to work about as well as a conventional slingshot with the black sporting bands.
