All... this book is priceless and that particular quote is a recurring thread in this book… but how true is it?!?! Yes... this book is slightly dated from a technology perspective (I still have cassette tapes and players 😊), but the content is timeless and priceless! I've surrendered my "TV time" to reading time before I purchased this book, but it reinforces the criticality of “READING BOOKS!” Still short 998 books for the year (have to read the book to understand that statement)... but the year is young (1/2026)! Thank you for this gift of knowledge wrapped in humor and common sense! Jim, I know you passed in 2009, but I wanted to share my KUDOS with your readers and your family and express my genuine respect and the fact your legacy will live on! I’m a retired IT professional for a fortune 500 company, with a masters degree, and many, many professional certifications… but… reading the basics like this, even at 76 years of age, are priceless mentally and spiritually! God bless authors like Jim Rohn! :-)

A fabulous read, Jim Rohn style...conversational and to-the-point!! Filled with nuggets of wisdom. This is a book to read yearly to really grasp all of its timeless wisdom! Rohn credits his mentor for getting him started on this journey! My favorites of his: "Majors vs Minors." Check it out to find out more!! Great book for anyone who is trying to better themselves. But you need to be the person who wants it.

I never heard about this book until it popped up on my Amazon book list. I thought I’d give it a try so I ordered it yesterday received it today around 2 o’clock this afternoon and read for four hours. Tomorrow I’ll finish up the book. I took notes I loved, every minute that I spent reading this book. Thank you for the content you shared with me this will change my life and I just want to mention I’m not one to read a book from cover to cover in three hours let alone six months. I recommend this book because it has already change my life and will continue to direct my path through life and business. It’s worth every penny.

Reading this as a part of our personal development for my group and really enjoyed it. Jim speaks in a very relatable manner and addresses problems such as goal setting and finance. For those who need a good set of initial steps to build their game plan, this is a great place to start.

Jim Rohn is a master teacher and speaker. In this book, he gives seven strategies for success and happiness. These seven strategies are not original or new. For example, acquiring wisdom, setting and using goals, and personal development are not new concepts. However, Jim Rohn gives you SIMPLE and USEABLE ways to apply these concepts right away. Many people look for the "magic" solution on how to get rich or become happy or successful and what this books shows you is that the magic is in your discipline towards applying these concepts and improving your life. Like all good teachers, he stresses that you have to apply your knowledge, not just absorb it passively. He also uses examples from his life and from people he has met. This is both motivational and instructive. A lot of it is common sense (another reviewer mentioned that this is nothing new). That's true! But that's why it's so powerful. Besides the quality of the content, it's pretty easy to read and not too long. I finished it in a weekend because I couldn't put it down! I highly recommend this book as a fairly comprehensive instruction manual on how to improve your life and succeed in whatever endeavors you wish to take on

If you're reading this, you probably know that Jim Rohn is Tony robbins's mentor and has helped him through many aspects of his business. In this book, you'll learn about strategy, setting goals, action and emotion and how they all work together to create a great business strategist. I love this book and will recommend it to many people

This book is loaded with a wealth (no pun intended) of information about personal development and even financial advice. The author explains how to navigate the path to personal and financial freedom in practical terms that anyone can understand. His 70/30 rule was something I'd never heard of and will definitely be putting into practice in my personal wealth plan. The author offered so many great anecdotes and examples that I could identify with, which really helped put his financial advice into perspective. A portion of the book is devoted to tips on achieving personal power, and some of them really hit home, causing me to reevaluate my goals and plans for success. One of my favorite quotes from this book was: "Don't just live another year. Instead, gather up the years and invest them in the next one." That statement is so simple yet very true. It's all in how one perceives life that determines what one will get out of life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who seeks sound advice to get started on the path to personal development and financial freedom.

Simply Fantastic. Have read 3/4 of book so far and skimmed rest. Everything I expected and more. Its a No nonsense but light and easy style read, that gets the points across simply and clearly. This should be Mandatory reading for all humans! I have heard many current Gurus speak/ read books / course material and you will find that many , including the great AR have borrowed Rohn's advice and lesson contained with in this short 156 page book. Its like a summary of All the key & strategic things one needs to know, no added padding. Just 10% of the content if applied will put you well on the way to Success, Wealth & Happiness and then you still have another 90% :) Those new to & in search "self investors" - this is an essential read ( and keep re-reading). Those "experienced" or "Advanced" self investors.... its a wonderful "Flash-card" reminder of all the Key principles that you Think you know ( and maybe.... need reminding again) without having to trawl through and (Re-) read 10 to 20 books on the subject. High Recommend.

I have my online business. I am almost 2 years in this career. I am a single mom and breadwinner in my first family. I am grateful to the business I met. Because I got this book. I do have additional resources for myself being a person who a single mother and business owner working globally to help me learn more about bigger good opportunities for life!

What a wonderful book!!! Easy to read and understand that is why Jim Rohn is so inspirational

One of the best books I have read. As they say “Success Leaves clues”. This certainly leaves clues especially if you are looking to empower yourself to find them.
