Great little espresso maker!
It’s perfect in my small kitchen, simple yet very effective. Makes a fantastic cup of coffee. Frother works great. Have had it almost a year now and still makes amazing coffee. Great value, sure beats spending big $$ on those other fancy ones!

I absolutely love this espresso machine!
I absolutely love this espresso machine! It’s compact, easy to use, and makes delicious coffee every time. The espresso comes out rich and flavorful with a nice crema, just like a café. The steam wand works great for making cappuccinos and lattes, and it heats up quickly, which is perfect for busy mornings. I also like that it doesn’t take up much space on the counter. For the price, the quality is excellent, and it’s perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy coffee shop drinks at home. Highly recommend! ☕✨

Tasty, Good Frother, Possible Gasket issue
UPDATE: Customer service replied, and after sending pictures and proof of purchase, they sent me a replacement lid. Now I no longer have any problems with the product. Overall, we have enjoyed this espresso machine. I purchased it on sale. Using the product is very simple, and we like the size and enjoy that it makes 4 shots at a time. The frother does amazing work, and we use heavy cream, not milk. It makes the heavy cream frothy and delicious. The only issue I have is the gasket for the water reservoir lid. The first time my husband used it, clouds of steam came from the lid, and it did not brew due to a lack of pressure. This was not my experience using it, so we looked deeper. Apparently, the lid gasket had come off and was improperly seated on the lid. The product guide does not mention this gasket, so we weren't sure exactly how it was supposed to go on. We took a guess and replaced it. It worked fine for some time after that. Then today, the issue occurred again. We took the lid off, and the gasket was in place; it hadn't fallen off. I decided to flip the gasket over and gave it a go. It worked fine after that. If you have issues with the gasket, the image attached with the gasket in the lid is the way I THINK it's supposed to go. I have since emailed Imusa customer service about this issue. I asked for a replacement gasket since there were none listed on the company website, and requested guidance on its proper care and placement on the lid. I will update my review once I hear back from them.

Worth the money as long as you don't want to use frother.
For the money I paid I am pleased. The brother stopped properly right away. It is easy to use other than the frothing device. I have left the espresso machine on multiple times and forgetting about it for a long while and it still works. It is not noisy to me. It is small so it won't take up alot of counter space. I have a towel underneath it in case of heat damaging the counter. Not that it will. Im just being safe. It wipes clean well.

Treat Yourself to this Daily Indulgence
My coffee maker died and while searching for a replacement, I came across this little gem. Comparably priced, this IMUSA Cappuccino/Espresso maker is impressive and oh, so affordable at only $4 more than a standard coffee maker. The assembly is simple. The end result is delicious. The milk steamer function is delightfully easy to use. I used 2 scoops of ground espresso coffee sold in a little block. For Cappuccino, I fill the tiny pot to the top of the metal band at top of pot. I use a glass one-cup Pyrex measuring cup for the 1/4 cup milk. Be advised that to access the steamer, you must wait until the tiny 2-serving pot fills to the first line (~) and then, switch the on/off/brew knob from Brew to the Steamer function. Before you switch to the Steamer function, make sure your milk container is held beneath the steamer and the head of the steamer is submerged to avoid steam or splatter issues. I hold the measuring cup by the bottom and the froth is usually substantial by the time the milk is hot - I can feel it through the bottom of the glass measuring cup. The more fat in the milk, the less froth develops. I use whole milk successfully but have also tried half and half with lackluster results. After steaming/frothing is adequate and while still holding container under steamer, switch back to Brew function, set down frothed milk, and brew will complete. Unplug the machine when Brew light goes out. I added two tablespoons of chocolate syrup to my cup, stirred the whole tiny pot of coffee into it, poured milk topped with foam in using a tiny rubber spatula to get every bit of froth, and dusted with Cinnamon. Shredded dark chocolate would be great here, too. Espresso is made exactly the same way, just omit the entire milk/steamer part. If it's your birthday, add one shot Jonah's Curse Black Coffee Rum to your cup before pouring the coffee. The only downside about this product is that since you have to wait until machine cools completely to make a second tiny pot, you only get one serving at a time. Unless you're making espresso and then, you get two full espresso cup servings. So if you want to enjoy Cappuccino with a friend, it's going to be tricky. Otherwise, drink it slowly because you're going to want more and the machine has to cool. Enjoy:)

FIRE HAZARD ! Do Not buy.
Numerous engineering problems with this model. Our house burned down due to an electronic device failure in 2016, therefore I feel it necessary to warn people about this coffee maker ’s fire hazard. (luckily nobody was injured as we were not home). I do not usually waste my time reviewing so I will only write about the problems. 1. The on/off/steam control knob is poorly designed. It is difficult to determine if the position is correct to turn the unit off because there is no click or clear detent to indicate off position. 2. The on/ off indicator light is dull and placed on one side so that you can only see it from the left. But the biggest problem happens when the coffee has been brewed, the light goes off but the internal heating chamber continues to stay on and cycles on and off. If you haven’t remembered to put the knob in the correct off position (and hope it is off) the heating chamber continues to cycle on and off even when empty. The light will stay off for about 9 minutes or more (I timed it) as the empty chamber cools, but the internal thermostat will continue to cycle the empty heating chamber, the light comes back on, indicating the empty chamber is heating and goes back off and on cool and heating cycles. This happens even after you have had time to drink your coffee and head out for the day, etc. I will admit that I discovered this because I forgot to turn the knob into the off position, from the brew position. The light went out so I thought it was off and then I saw it go back on by itself to cycle the heating chamber. This is the reason why I am sending it back. 3. The port where you pour the water in has a metal crossbar that impedes the water you pour down into the heating chamber, thus splashing and making more cleanup. but could also splash onto or get into the on/off control knob and cause possible electronic malfunction, spark, and fire. Lastly, I bought this coffee maker to replace a similar Krups unit that had a very bright on/off light on the front and a clear “click" for on or off position. The on light was in the middle so it was visible from the left or right. I hope this helps keep you and your family safe. It was a floor model dehumidifier that failed and caught fire to burn down our house. Check you electronic appliance and devices by searching for recalls online. we were the 61st house fire caused by a faulty electronic switch in the recalled dehumidifier. When you buy it new, register your appliances if possible with the manufacturer Unplug your electronic devices and appliances (as applicable )when you leave the house.!!!! I could not find a new Krups replacement other than a $299.99 unit.

Surprisingly, great little unit
Let me start by saying I really enjoy good quality coffee, and regularly go out for a treat to my favourite shop so that I can have top quality! I purchase this unit before Christmas, more of curiosity than anything, as I wanted an espresso maker, but didn’t know where to start without a huge cost! I’m honestly flabbergasted at this little unit. It pressurizes well, and provides a decent espresso! My preference is latte, so having the steamer on the side, integrated, works quite well! As soon as the water has heated enough to begin the brewing process, just switch the dial to steam, prepare your milk, returning to coffee ‘mode’ once your milk has been perfectly steamed! Given the previous reviews, I’ve been careful to treat this machine well by unplugging it when not in use, and releasing the steam pressure after each use. I actually keep it unplugged, just in case I forget to roll the dial to off. It’s been over two months, and I am very pleased with all that it has offered! Unquestionably worth the price in my mind! Update: two years later, this little machine is still serving me up an Americano and steamed milk, every weekday (French press on the weekends!) I questioned how long it would last, and it has absolutely held up, with the care outlined above. Would definitely recommend and would definitely buy again.
