Purchased a Girls Doodle Book and also one for Boys. Both a very nice. Large thick book with simple ideas on each page that are easy to read. Kids can work at their own pace as well. Add a little or a lot to each page. To be even more creative, once the page is finished they could create their own story about the page.

Great for the doodler that lacks a little imagination and needs a nudge to get the artistic juices flowing.

Fun doodle book for kiddos! Encourages them to be very creative, my daughter enjoys this good for long trips and the book is very sturdy and there’s lots of different pages in there!

You will instantly fall in love with this book! It is so thick, so colorful and so imaginative! It has bright pages with part of a scene, such as a bird cage, but no bird inside. The instructions may say, draw the bird you would like to have and then decorate the cage for it. They draw directly in the book, and I greatly expect this to be a keepsake to enjoy looking at through the years as they grow up. I originally saw one at WalMart, which was more expensive that Amazon btw, and loved it, and my 9 yr old granddaughter has been asking for it ever since. I asked her again this morning, "How do you like your doodle book?" and she said emphatically, "I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Thank you for getting it for me, Nanny!!!!!" she then went into a 20 minute dissertation about the scenes and how she plans to finish them.

Just what she needed. I have a 9 year old niece, who stays with her uncle and his kids after school, everyday. She was getting bored and started drawing and doodling, except she was running out of paper and ideas. This was perfect. She loves it and all of her artwork is located in one place and gives her ideas for days when she has blank paper to spare. I even collaborated with her on a few of them. Yes there are extremely fun and addicting. Good with crayons, colored pencils, and markers. Good thick pages.

This is a gift for my granddaughter. It has so many opportunities to doodle girly things—princesses, horses, etc. I love the imagination starters!

Absolutely love this doodle book! I bought it for a six year old girl, so she'll need some help reading the text on the pages, but in general its easy to understand what you should be drawing. This is so much better than a normal coloring book just having to fill in spaces... it actually sparks your creativity and imagination! Honestly if you are into art at all, this book is for all ages. Love the boys version too

My kids love these books. I haven’t given them this one yet (Christmas gift) but they both loved the boys doodle book so I’m sure this will also be a hit!

Looks like a lot of fun. My daughter is getting it for Christmas and I can tell it will be a hit. Nice quality, lots of fun activities inside.

Our Granddaughter loves this book she was having trouble with art and this has helped her start to see as an artists by showing a bit of a picture and asking you to fill in the part needed to finish the picture. Our Granddaughter was 6 at the time.

Had I just seen this book in a store it would not have been something I would have thought my daughter would like. But she came home asking for one after several of her friends received them through the Scholastic book order at school. She and her friends ages 8 and 9, both girls and boys really enjoy this book. It provides them with a new idea on each page where they can create and use their imagination to come up with an illustration all their own. My daughter says she really likes it because it's hers and she doesn't have to share her creations with anyone like you do with your art work at school. I have a younger daughter as well and intend to purchase one for her, I think it is a good book for many ages.
