INITIAL ASSESSMENT, Dec 2021 So far I'm impressed by their attention to detail. It's nicely designed and it fits the Mavic 2 controller quite well. They included extras in the kit. - Tools for adjusting the tension on the joints, - Spare joint caps, - Separate CrystalSky mount, - Lanyard, - Soft carrying pouch. I tested it with an 11" Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. As tablets go, it's fairly heavy. This mount held its position fairly well. I would advise against jogging around with it, or making sudden harsh movements. The weight of a larger tablet can still cause this mount to move if you're spazzing out. I think it will feel pretty solid with a smaller tablet. The folding design makes it easy to carry around between flights. Clamp depth: My only criticism is the depth of the clamp. I don't think it would accommodate a tablet with a case. You be the judge. Craftsmanship and material quality seem really good as well. So far, so good. I'll provide an update if anything changes.

This mount, device clamp included, is entirely made from machined aluminum. Of course the tiny black end-caps are plastic. The folding arm joints for position adjustment are very firm and this keeps my iPad generation 6 completely stable and secure. To attach the iPad to the clamp, I place the iPad face down on something soft, pull the clamp apart by grabbing the ribbed spring-loaded ends, position over the back of the iPad and release the clamp ends. Using an iPad for viewing the DJI Go 4 app vs an iPhone is so much better. This mount is high quality and because of this, it should hold up very well.

Thank you very much for such a great product. I recently became a Certified Drone Pilot and am an Engineer by trade. With any product i do extensive research and review of anything i buy to ensure that i am getting the highest quality product for whatever i may be looking to do. In this case i was looking for a high quality tablet / phone support for my new Mavic Pro 2. There are a tremendous amount of device holders on the market but few that are made solely of Aluminum construction. As I stated I look for quality over quantity. I am of the mindset of "Buy Once, Buy Right", though your product was 3 times the amount of other similar devices I had a feeling from the reviews and the research I did that it would be 3 times the value and as expected, I was right. This is an extremely high-end product with solid construction and am extremely pleased with the build, quality, and utilization. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the highest quality holder on the market. This will last anyone years and years of continual use. "Buy Once, Buy Right"

This item is proof that not everything made in China is of inferior quality. The build quality of this red-colored all-aluminum tablet mount is great! This is exactly what I was looking for for my Mavic Air and it works perfectly with both my devices: a 9.7" iPad Pro and an iPhone 11 Pro Max (both without cases). With a Ballistic Tough Series case on my iPhone, it’s not quite a snug fit, but not bad. The problem, though, is that there’s no way to plug the cable in, because the port doesn’t line up with the hole in the bracket. I'll probably use it without the case so the phone doesn't slip out of the mount, but I'd have to do that anyway if I were going to use the standard setup on the controller (phone between the handles). The mount and accessories come packaged in a foam "block" inside a well-packaged white box. Included are tools to set the viewing angle, a spare set of black plastic caps to cover the adjustment screws, a lanyard, a bracket for attaching a Crystal Sky monitor, and a carry pouch. I was confused at first as to how this differed from a $38 version on Amazon by Sunnylife. THAT version has an ABS plastic phone/tablet bracket. THIS version has an all-aluminum bracket that works flawlessly and that should last a good long time. Note that THIS version is also made by Sunnylife. All in all, I highly recommend this mount, and I feel it's well worth the money. I purchased this on my own and have no reason to provide a positive review other than the fact that it's a good product. I'm very demanding, so you should be confident that my review is valid. My only gripe is that the bracket doesn’t accommodate a case. Maybe Sunnylife could modify the bracket do it does? Hint, hint, to Sunnylife! Enjoy!

This iPad mount is one of the best on the market because of its design and function. It fits into the Mavic 2 controller perfectly and can securely grip an 11-inch iPad Pro. The mount can be adjusted to allow a view of the controller’s screen and does not get in the way of the controller’s antennae. So, it does not put the iPad in a position where it blocks the radio signal to the drone. The balance is excellent, even with the 11-inch iPad because the mount keeps the iPad close to the operator. A hood can be used with this mount and there is room for parabolic reflectors on the antennae. Another positive point is that the mount breaks down into two pieces and folds up compactly. The whole unit fits into the spaces in my PGYTech carry case. When I’m ready to fly, the mount goes together with a single captive machine screw that has a grip on the end for tightening. I was reluctant to buy a mount that placed my iPad behind the controller screen because I didn't think I could fly the drone without seeing its screen. But DJI Go 4 software puts all of that information and more on the screen of the iPad. And, with this mount, I can still look over the top and see the screen and where the controller's function buttons are. This mount was specifically engineered to fit the Mavic 2 controller which has a recessed groove that is not straight. This base of the mount is sculptured to fit in that groove, leaving room to connect a USB cable and hear the controller’s speakers. The Mavic 2 controller arms that are designed to hold a cell phone will grip the base mount firmly on both sides. The base mount supports a folding arm that screws onto the iPad holder without the need for a tool. The iPad holder is all metal with rubber pads to grip the iPad. The top and bottom jaws of the iPad holder both open wide enough to fit in an 11-inch iPad Pro with a few millimeters to spare. Not enough space to take an iPad with protective cover, but enough to hold the bare 11-inch iPad. This mount also comes with a Crystal Sky monitor mount, spare plastic caps and tools to tighten the joints if they ever become loose. After flying with it I am totally satisfied with the way it works.

I’m blown away by how well this mount is built. Super study; lightweight; tight tolerances; thoughtful design. I cant think of anything that can be done to improve it. My only criticism is with the container it was shipped in. Yes, the box is sturdy with a beautifully molded rubber insert to protect all the components which are all separately bagged in plastic - totally unnecessary! Minutes after I opened the box and assembled the mount all of that packaging ended up in the trash. This unit is rugged enough to not require all of that wasteful stuff that just contributes to a landfill. How about just securing everything in simple cardboard that can easily be recycled? Just my $.02

Excellent iPad mount for my DJI Spark remote it holds my 9.7 iPad nice and snug I don't have to worry about it falling off. Item is very well made it's easy to adjust and stays in place no slipping. It seems a little pricy but after receiving it and using it it's well worth the money. Excellent customer service was quick to answer questions and solve any problems that might come up. I recommend buying from this seller.

I really like this mount. It is very solid. The joints are rather stiff, which is nice because you can set the monitor to the angle you want and feel comfortable that it won't move. I use it for an iPad Mini 4 with my Mavic 2 Pro, and it works great. If there was one bit of improvement, I would say the spring mechanism that holds the iPad could be stronger or have a locking mechanism or something. Though it hasn't happened yet, I worry a drop or a jerk to the remote could dislodge the iPad. I like having the neck strap and will let the remote hang if I'm not using it, but I do worry a little bit that the iPad could slip out. Like I said, it hasn't done that yet and I'm cautious enough that it probably won't, but it is a concern.
