I went through menopause in my late 40's and had sudden and severe vaginal dryness with atrophy. Intercourse became excruciating (pain, burning, dryness) & all the lubricant in the world wasn't helping because the vaginal tissue had lost it's ability to stretch. My husband and I had to really adjust how we were intimate with one another and it was an enormous/depressing loss for both of us (we called it "lame sex" - LOL). Even though it was "lame", we still couldn't do it more than once a week because of the residual pain/irritation to that area (stinging/burning sensations). I ordered these supplements and used one every 2 to 3 nights and although it's only been a few weeks, my situation is so much improved.
