Better than expected
I’ve been wanting a triple fat goose since I was a young lad because it was trending in my neighborhood back in the day...now I have one I don’t regret it I love the fit, the comfort, the warmth, the color, everything about it is absolutely what you want from a coat....Thank you....

Awesome looking and very warm jacket!
I liked that it was significantly cheaper than other similar jackets from other brands without sacrificing quality or warmth, plus it looks great and fits very nicely. A couple of small things: the zippers could have been bigger and the collar could have been a little bit less bulky.

Keeps you warm
This jacket will definitely keep you warm.Nicely made, stylish, I just wish it had breathable zippers under the arms. It is ticker than I expected, definitely made for Artic Temperatures. No doubt on that. Don’t buy unless you are going to be exposed to very low temperatures.

Not the Canada Goose for half of the price
Bought this one as a replacement for my old Canada Goose Expedition (CG), which became too worn out.Bought TFG Stratus from official store because of discounts available there. Spent some time reading reviews, and was thinking that this is a real alternative to CG for the half of the price. Well, it is not.It is not comparable to CG Expedition not in terms of warmth (Lack of waistcord, Lack of inner wind/snowproof skirt, less rigid hood, less warm rib knit cuffs), and not definetly in terms of overall quality (Again, hood, chinguard, single inner pocket, lack of utility pockets, zippers, few sticking threads here and there, etc). I wear theese parkas in Yakutsk city, and temperatures here go down to -50C (Celcius) and sometimes below, -40C is about average throughout the winter, so there is no such thing as "too warm parka" here, and the lesser warmth compared to CG is a noticeable thing. Of course that wouldnt be a problem if you live somewhere where -10C is considered "Cold".I dont want to say it is bad, i actually think it is good for the price (560 USD with discount from official store at the time). But, unfortunately, it is not "Canada Goose for half of the price".Few additional notes: 1) it is true to size. I have bought L size Stratus, and it is smaller than my M size CG. Consult with seller if you are unsure. 2) It is also a bit lighter than the CG, which adds to general "Less warm feel" 3) Was thinking between Chenega II and Stratus, and preferred Stratus for its "less CG Expedition look" (Or less "M65 look" if you will). Wearing it few days, a came to conclusion, that theese "front upper zipper pockets" while maybe stylish, are much less useful. They are small and opening them when outside wearing gloves is a pain. And it is quesionable how long will they last if used often (These pockets have rubbered coating, which doesnt look very solid). In this regard i would say that Chenega II looks more practical. 4) Also i would recommend to think twice, if you are going to be exposed to really cold weather conditions, around -35C to -45C and below. Also in the latter case i wouldnt recommend buying "size to size", because i would recommend leaving some room for wearing good thick sweater under the parka.Ps. After 1 winter in Yakutsk, i strongly suggest NOT buying this (and, probably, any other Aisen TFG) parka, if you’re u are going to be exposed to cold weather conditions around -35C and below. It is simply not designed for that. Add some 300-500$ and go for CG Expedition Parka or Snow Mantra. I will probably have to buy CG, and will use my TFG Stratus during spring/autumn.Pps. Have bought CG Expedition again. Of course, it would be better buying it in the first place, without extra spending hard earned money on TFG 😅
