They were made to fit the car.
These fit the RAV4 and all the screw holes lined up great. They actually are smaller than the originals but look better too in my opinion. I would have have a 5 star except for the fact that body line fit could have been a little tighter. I added an extra screw to the fronts to pull them in and hug the fenders. It worked great. Not an option for the rears as the screw would show

Not as good from manufacture.
The flaps installed easily enough but are not a fine fit. There a small gaps and the drivers rear flap seems to be mismatched...not a snug fit at all. They will work for what they are intended to do, but a finer finish would make this a much better product.

Dont buy for 2010 Rav4
I own a 2010 Toyota Rav4 and this product is not a good fit. I will be returning it. The splash guards are a thick plastic, but are not flush with the car and the holes aren't perfectly aligned. They do send “replacement” screws. However, those screws are slightly longer and thicker than the OEM. The OEM screws heads are too small for the preset holes. So, when they get tighter, they push thru the splash guards holes. The “replacement” screws dont go all the way in leaving just enough space to allow the guard to move around even more than it does with the OEM screws. If you do choose this product, know that your Rav4 will need anchor rivets on the bottom part in the rear. They do not send replacements for that. Luckily, I had ordered some a week ago for another project. After installation, the product wasnt a tight fit and was shaky. The rear pieces have 2 holes for the inner well and a bottom piece that uses the rivet. The Rav4 only has a hole for one screw and then the bottom rivet. Im not drilling a hole for for this generic product. At higher speeds I feel they would eventually come off within a year. I will source another brand to try out.
