BUILT NY City Neoprene Shoulder Tote Bag, Plum Dot

I got this because I was looking for a lightweight bag to use for travel. Since I received it I have taken this bag on international trips and flown from one side of the US and back again. It holds a lot! Very lightweight, but sturdy. Easy to clean. It fit nicely under the seat on the plane. I ended up buying another one in a print too because I was so happy with this. There is only one inside pocket, but it holds quite a lot. There is a slight neoprene smell, but it dissipated after I had it out of the package for a while. If you are looking for a sturdy tote bag for every day use or travel, I definitely recommend this bag.

Pros: good value, nice, roomy size, neoprene material, water resistant, stretchy... button keeps it closedCons: neoprene smell, straps need to be of better quality, I'd pay extra for a zipper, only one small, zippered compartment inside

Love my Neoprene Totes from BUILTNY. Durable, colorful, and very functional in all types of inclement weather. Definitely recommend this one. I hope BUILTNY will make some neoprene RFID wallets, and cosmetic pouches to match their bags! What a wry nice product!

love this little tote - very stylish - i move around a LOT at work and use it as an auxillary bag to toss in laptop, mouse, waterbottle, power cords, etc. Just what i wanted.

Great for carrying day to day stuff to work

The BUILT NY City Neoprene Shoulder Tote Bag that I received and the description of it don't match up. It's incorrectly described as a “wine tote with corkscrew” that protects a wine bottle during transporting and “is a great way to present a bottle of wine as a gift.” The picture on the product page was also wrong, but it's been corrected to show the actual product.This is a bag styled with the archetypal features of a classic tote: larger than a purse; rectangular; sturdy; stands upright (flat bottomed), and parallel handles that emerge from the sides of its pouch.Build NY makes their tote bags from plain and patterned neoprene (wetsuit material) and have faux leather looking handles. Build NY adds an internal, zippered pocket and a simple, single snap closure. Able to stand, but folds flat when empty for easy storage. Even though neoprene gives an insulating quality, the single snap doesn't provide full closure to use the bag very effectively as a picnic tote. On the other hand, neoprene stretches amazingly; I give this bag kudos for appearing to have the capacity to be stuffed like a clown car. Speaking of cars, I left my bag in the backseat for an afternoon. On my return, I was assaulted by a headache inducing stench of skunk, which turned out to be from the neoprene getting hot. Ugh! All in all, I find the bag to be a fully functional, tough skinned tote bag that looks like it will stand up to lots of abuse over a couple of lifetimes. I like it. I'd love it if it had a full zipper closure and if the material had been treated (washed?) to eliminate, or at least reduce, that funky neoprene smell.

Very nice bag except for the hole where the popper goes through. It's damaged all the way through and is noticeable.

El bolso está bien de tamaño no es muy grande ni muy pequeño, yo lo quería como para llevar la comida a la ofician y entran diferentes tuppers. ESta bien.
