Great Price, Quality Look, Remote, function-ability and ease of install. 👌👌👌
Great Price, Quality Look, Remote, function-ability and ease of install. 👌👌👌 Will definitely recommend. Best price by far!!! Comparable to other models priced for triple its price. Modern, contemporary up to date design and clean line look. Allows for proper air displacement and control. Have seen discrediting reviews but most likely created by transport or installations. Ours do not wobble and works perfectly. Will definitely buy again. We bought for $79.00. Noticed price went up to $100.00 (that was not good) but it’s now back to around $85.00 again. Maintain at that price and it will be a great buy as stated above. Hope this helps.

Something Else
This is a beutifl fan. It's very quiet , and pushes a bunch of air through the normally warm room. The lighting (2x 60W bulbs) lights up the room nicely, and can dim to your desired effect. After reading the other reviews I decided I could handle the installaion, it wasn't my 1st rodeo with fan installation. A couple of things that I ran into, might help others install this fan easier. 1. The heavier guage wiring in my house made it rather difficult to connect, the wiring & wire nuts, to the remote around the mounting bracket, and still be able to slide the remote reciever into position. .... and close the canopy too. I finally figured out that you have to bring the wiring above the forward bar on top of the mounting bracket, while leaving enough slack to slip in the reciever. 2. The blades are what others had described. With the recommended magnetic philips head tip om my screw driver, it was relatively easy to line up the screw & holes. 3. After putting in the blades, I turned it on and got a pulsing vibrating buzzing sound. I found, through a Google search some suggestions. In this case it was the old light dimmer I had for my old light fixture. Having replaced that with a standard light switch, the noise went away. 4. There's a smell comming from the fan. Aagin, I looked it up on Google. There are some installers who said that there's a motor coating that has to burn off after 24-48 hours of use.... one said it took a week. I'm writing this right after installation so I would remember what I had to pass on, so I can not verify the smell part just yet, though I am hoppefull. Hope this helps your installation

Just ok
When installed the light bulb immediately burn out. The finish of the material and style of the fan is just ok. If I had it too do over I would purchase a different fan

Happy with the customer service from Black and Decker
I purchased two of these at the same time and the first one installed without issue. When I opened the second the globe for the light was shattered. Amazon told be I would have to return both fans to get a replacement which was quite inconvenient seeing as the other was already installed. I called Black and Decker directly and although it took a couple months and 3 separate phone calls they did eventually send a replacement. Once I had the glove I installed the fan only up find the remote and remote box didn't work. I contacted Black and Decker directly again and this time I did have to call twice but the replacement parts arrived quickly. I haven't installed the new parts yet but I gave this item 4 starts because even though I took a bit of effort on my part Black and Decker worked with me and made sure I received all the parts I needed. The fans do look great once installed.

Great price and loom
I see so many negative reviews on this productw but loved the price and look so i bought it Installation so easy didnt even read the book i see people saying they have installed many and this was the harded for them .. Well for me out of the box witout reading instructions maybe 20 mins up and running People say no room for control module but it slips right in bewteen cieling and hanging bracket.. People say the blades are flat ... but the blade are actually at angle once installed plenty of air flow. People say u cant get standards bulbs in socket i put two right in no issues ...so unless they upgraded the products after all the feedback its Great looking fan all the features low price easy up...

Quality Control Issue
Clearly there’s a need for better quality control. Firstly, although instructions can be improved, it shouldn’t be difficult to install this fan by a handy person. Secondly, though there were a few scratches on the fan blades and minor imperfections, they can be hidden by reversing the blades, so the imperfections are facing towards the ceiling. However, the biggest issue and the reason for my one-star review is because the mounting bracket is too deep and hits the canopy mounting screws when doing a flush mount. I checked a few previous reviews here at Amazon and there appears to be lots of complaint about this same issue. For most, this issue is detected when getting ready to install the fan and after installing the fan’s supporting bracket on the ceiling. The fan itself is in the heavy side, so lifting it and trying to get it in place can be a hassle if the canopy holding screws won’t line up. If you purchase this fan and are doing a ‘flush mount’ you should, in my opinion, skip step 4 of the manual for now (installing bracket to ceiling outlet box), then go to step 6, which is Flush Mount Installation Option, and install the canopy to the motor housing. Note that you’re supposed to use a rubber “bushing” between the canopy and the motor housing but mine didn’t come with one, so I had to make my own. After installing canopy to the motor housing, dry install the fan supporting mounting bracket onto the canopy and make sure the side screw holes in mounting bracket align with the canopy’s side screw holes...these are the holes for the screws that support the fan to the ceiling. If holes don’t align it probably means, at least in my case, that the supporting mounting bracket hits the screws that support the canopy to the motor housing. In my opinion, if that’s the case, you have these options: contact Amazon or seller for support, try grinding down the supporting bracket or the head of the screws, use screws with thinner head or start a return.

Very quiet with powerful air flow!
QUIET! Powerful! Love the remote, love that the light is dimmable. Have slept soundly since installing-on the lowest setting the air movement is perfect. Very pleased with the contemporary sleek look that looks great with my industrial/farmhouse vibe. Highly recommend! (Ps ignore the hole in the ceiling...we have a flat room and no attic so jousts had to be gone through...haven’t had a chance to repair the ceiling as of yet:)

I would pass on this fan
I don’t know where to begin. The fan was installed by a professional electrician who had difficulty with the installation. The directions provided weren’t great. It took about 2 hours to get it installed and working. It didn’t mount securely, it shakes at the lowest speed, doesn’t produce much air and the remote is horrible! The speed settings are marked 0-3; one would think 0 would mean off , 1 low, 2 med and 3 high. Welp not this fan... 0 was off,1 was hi and 3 was low.... Besides that... I can say it is a nicer looking fan and with 125 watt bulbs it provide good lighting. I would recommend buying this particular fan.

Pleasant surprise!
We put this fan in our bedroom. We did have some issues with the installation, since we didn't use the downrod, but now that it's up, it's great. Very quiet and very effective, as a fan. Perfect purchase for us!

Looks great but ...
It looks good installed, runs super quiet, but awkward to install and some little annoying to things. I wanted to replace the wireless controller in the fan with an aftermarket universal Smart controller. The one included is a proprietary design, so no chance to upgrade it as the universal one won't fit. Attaching the fan blades once the fixture is installed is a pain, as you have to pass a screw on the tip of your driver, up through a slot in the light fixture, through the blade screw hole into the fan housing. When doing this on a ladder with the free spinning fan housing, it doesn't take long to become frustrated with the design. Finally, every other remote-controlled fan we have has the slowest speed at 1 and gets progressively faster as the numbers get larger. Makes sense. This fan has the fastest at 1 and the slowest at 3. Haven't figured out if there is some way it makes sense, but at least they got the 2 speed right, as it is the middle speed.

Safety issue : no safety chain
do not buy this fan. The mounting bracket is super thin aluminum and it has no safety chain to secure the fan to the ceiling. This is one huge safety issue. My electrician struggled for 4 hours to install this fan and gave up and we returned the fan for a refund.
