Legend Of Zelda Concert 2018 Original Soundtrack

The cover of this special edition is beautiful, with the art of Ocarina of Time Link, Skyward Sword Zelda and Breath of the Wild Link holding their respective instruments being embossed onto a high-quality box. The box itself is gray and black, sporting a checkered-like triforce pattern. It opens from the side like a lid, and right away you see the charms in sealed plastic. The goodies that this edition comes with are great quality too. The charms comes with a DIY stand (instructions for setting this up ARE include in this edition. It should come right before the SOUNDTRACK CD.) Unfortunately I just don't have enough space to display it right now, but I'm eager to set it up in the future. That's just the box, though. The music itself is stellar. (Though I feel that should be self-explanatory, it's a Zelda soundtrack played by an orchestra after all.) I expected it to be shipped in a box. It came in one of those envelope packages that you might typically see if you order paperback books off Amazon. I was worried how this would affect the condition of the item, but it was alright. The plastic covering the box was ripped a little, so be cautious if you like to keep your items sealed for collection purposes. But since most order this to get to the music and other collectibles, it should be fine. There was no damage to the soundtrack box; the envelope package seemed to work just fine. (I'll be updating this review in a bit with pictures.)

I found a Youtube channel quite by accident that had questionably uploaded both disks to Youtube. I sat and listened to the whole playlist in one sitting and fell in love with it. After doing a bit of googling, I found that there were a handful of disks left, and for Christmas, I bought myself the disks. I've listened to them so many times that I've memorized all of the music. I'm convinced Nintendo needs to hire a full orchestra for the next Breath of the Wild game; the medleys are grand, beautiful, and moving. My favorite songs were the Ganon battle medley (the choir and brass sections cause me to get goosebumps every time) and the BotW trailer music. This collection is a masterpiece.

Great recording quality in this amazing live concert which includes lots of BOTW tracks and other classics. The Blu-ray, card and "jewelry" within are a nice addition. Sadly, its all in Japanese and there's no English text version for the tracks and information of the concert. Still love it though.

The Legend of Zelda 2018 Concert with the Tokyo Philharmonic is one of those absolutely stellar performances of video game music that makes you wish you had been there for the actual performance. At least they made such a wonderful recording! You get a gorgeous package with the 2 CDs of the 14 tracks, but the Blu Ray is the unexpected gem that provides a wonderful view of the performance as well as the option to watch what the audience saw during the performance. For you Breath of the Wild fans, you not only get all of the themes of the game, you also get to hear a fully scored climax to the game which, unlike the official soundtrack of BotW, beautifully transitions between the Hyrule Castle theme, the final battle, and the epic final scene music. Just pure magic!

I was stuck between buying this or just the concert CD. I decided to go with this version as I hadn’t been to any of the Legend of Zelda concerts and the DVD would be a good way to experience it. While the tracks on the music CD are in Japanese, I was able to figure out which version to select on my computer to get the tracks in English when I uploaded the music to my music player. I had only recently gotten into video game music, even though I have always loved playing video games, and had only been to the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra, so I didn’t know if I would be interested in the Legend of Zelda concert or not. As it’s not possible to time travel, I decided to purchase this concert cd while it was still available so I could both enjoy the music and decide if I would want to go if there was another concert in the future that I would be able to attend. I enjoyed the orchestra arrangements of the music from the concert that was on the cd and am glad I purchased this version as it makes me hopeful there will be another concert again someday, but if not I can always enjoy my home concert experience.

Simply beautiful. I went to the Symphony of the Goddess concert pretty close to the release of Breath of the Wild and hoped there would be music from the as-of-then unreleased game. But there wasn't any. This is what my wildest dreams thought I could maybe get that day and more, much more. The narrative that each spotlighted instrument (the ocarina, accordion, and harp) has throughout the concert is only matched by the attention to detail to the original score and the beauty in which it is seamlessly weaved from delightful beginning, to climactic end, to surprising encores, and, ultimately, the finish that can only be experienced uniquely in each listener's mind.

If you like any music from the Zelda series then this soundtrack shouldn't disappoint. Most of the songs are from Breath of the Wild, but it also includes medleys from Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, etc. and even one that's boss battle themed. The orchestra performs beautifully and sounds great. Highly recommended.

I received it on time and with no issues. It is a Christmas gift so I hope it is as the item was described and what my bf wanted.

他の人のレビューで絶対買うべきと書いてあったのをみて、本当かなと思いましたが、買ってみて、間違いない！と思いました。これまで、私は、何回かブルーレイディスクとセットになったCDを買ったことがありましたが、一度も買ってよかったと思ったことはなかったです。ブルーレイディスクなんか、「ついてきたから一応見るか」と思って一度は見ますが、それで、「ああもう見なくていいや」と思うことばかりでした。・・・しかし！ このブルーレイディスクは違っていた！ また見たい、何回もみたい。トップメニューで、まず、オーケストラセクションとゲームセクションに分かれている。「ああ、こういうのね。よくあるよなー。物好きもいるもんだよな。」と思ってみてみたら・・・何回も見るうちに、両方が見たい。どっちも何回も見たいとなってしまった。オーケストラセクションは、オーケストラの演奏がメインの映像で、ときどき、バックのスクリーンにゲームの映像も入っている編集になっている。こっちのほうは、トークもみれるようになっていて嬉しいし、奏者の演奏の様子や表情、会場の雰囲気とかも少し感じられて楽しい。一方で、ゲームセクションのほうは、画面はゲーム画面からのものだけになっていて、ゲームの音楽を生のオーケストラ、合唱団、各楽器の演奏者が演奏する音楽になっているもの。ゲームの場面を思い出しながら見ることができた。忘れられない・・・忘れたくないいろんな感情が思い起こされた。 私は、実際は、任天堂64の「時のオカリナ」と任天堂ファミコンミニのゼルダ２種類、任天堂スイッチの「ブレスオブザワイルド」しかやっていない。しかも、任天堂ファミコンミニのゼルダ２種類は最後までクリアーできていない。 ブレスオブザワイルドは、クリアしたのちに、DLCも追加購入したし、写し絵の記憶も１３枚すべて見れるようにした。写し絵の記憶をすべて思い出すと、最後に「姫しずか」と名付けられた架空の花が一面に咲き乱れる高原でゼルダ姫が笑顔をみせるシーンがみれるようになるらしい。それぞれのファンがそれなりの感想を持つようにできているのだろうから、人により違うのだろうが、私には、この「姫しずか」が一面に咲く高原で、ゼルダ姫が笑うのをリンクがみるというシーンは、完全な勝利と意味しているように感じた。 ゼルダ姫は、実際は、無才の姫ではなかった。ネタバレになってしまうが、ゼルダ姫は、話の中で、リンクの命も助けたし、ハイラルも救った。しかし、そのためには、リンクがいなければ、それは不可能であった。 リンクもゼルダ姫を助けて、ハイラルを救ったが、当然、ゼルダ姫がいなかったら死んでいたし、ハイラルも助けられなかった・・・。 ４人の英傑たちは、無視してハイラル城跡に突入してもクリアーできるらしいが、非常に難しい。大きな助けになったことは間違いない。 時のオカリナは、声優の嶋村侑さんは、たぶんやったことはないと思うが、それなりに音楽は楽しまれたようだ。オカリナ奏者の ホンヤ ミカコ さんとオーケストラの掛け合いも楽しく見れた。オカリナの素朴なメロディーがモチーフになって、そのあとに、オーケストラの広がりと深さのある演奏が響き渡る・・・。ゲームのなかでも、５つのボタンを操るだけで、より複雑な音楽演奏を開始させる合図になっていた。ゲームの中では、音楽は、単なる音を楽しむだけのものではない。それは、攻撃や防御のタイミングを計るための重要な役目のある合図でもあった。時には、それが生死をもわけ、ひいては、ハイラルの存亡すらも左右するものになっていたともいえる。 ホンヤミカコさんとのトークの中で「５つの音」についての話を膨らませる話がでていた。音楽の世界では「ペンタトニック」といって、５つの音程（とそのオクターブ）だけでできてる種類の音楽がある。日本的なイメージの音楽をホンヤミカコさんは紹介してくれていたが、そのほかにも西洋の「ブルース」とかもペンタトニックでの構成が基本とされている。５つの音程に何を選ぶかで、雰囲気が違ってくる。日本風音楽とブルースとでは５つの音の組み合わせが違っている。「時のオカリナ」では、厳密にいうと、５つの音程ではなく「４つの音程」になっている。レファラシレだと、レがオクターブで同じなので、レファラシの４音程だけの旋律になっている。まあこれも５音程の一種ともいえるが、１音程が欠如したペンタトニックといえると思う。「時のオカリナ」の独特の雰囲気（不可解なイメージ、怖く不安定なイメージなど）をよく表していた。 アコーディオンの津花幸嗣（つばなこうじ）さんの解説も面白かった。クロマチックアコーディオンというアコーディオンは右手もボタン配列になっていてオクターブとかも指がとどきやすい長所があるとのこと。またアコーディオンはハーモニカと同様に金属リードを音源としているが、（おそらくビスとはは金属だろうとおもわれるが）全体は木でできていて音を共鳴させているとのこと。ハーモニカ音と似ているようで少し違う。木の部分の共鳴が温かみや哀愁、くつろげるイメージなども表現しているのかもしれない。カッシーワの演奏は哀愁も良く表していた気がする。リーバルの歌では、哀愁だけではなく、力強さ、滑らかさ、スパスパと切り替えられる歯切れよさもよく表して大活躍していた気がする。 山宮るり子さんの演奏するハープの音や解説も聴けた。ゲームのなかでは、ハープは戦闘の曲では少なかった気がする。ハープは女神の出現するシーンなどで使われていた。今回の演奏会では、取り上げられなかったが、海外のコンサートでは、ファイという幽霊みたいな女の子の幻影がアイススケートの演技のような感じで飛び跳ねて踊り、そのあと天に昇っていくシーンで使われていた。このシーンは、実際のゲームでは、単なる情報を伝えるだけのシーンだったようだが、コンサートでは、どうしても勝てない相手がいたが、ファイがリンクの鳴らすハープの音で慰められたため、弱点が消えて、勝てない相手を徹底的に打破することに成功したという流れに受け止められる。リンクの戦いでは、時々、自らの生み出す幻影との闘いが登場する。幻影の敵は単なる力だけでは勝てない。力の支えになるものとしてのいたわる気持ちのようなものが必要になることがある。その時にそれを彩る音としてのハープの音が出てくるときがあった気がする。ハープは攻撃の道具ではないが、後方支援のアイテムとしては、非常に強力なパワーを秘めているものととらえることができる。 音楽は、単に音を楽しむだけではなく、非常に多くの意味を内在させうるもののように感じる。音楽は、感情を呼び起こす、記憶を呼び起こす、多くの人に伝える、伝わる、大きな音として、小さな音として。タイミングを教える。音や旋律の順序に意味を持たせることもできる。物語を伝える際の手助けになる。人の気持ちを引き付けることもできる。何に引き付けるのかも変えることができる。そのことによっても同じ曲でも違う意味を与えることもできる・・・。 私は、音楽自体も結構すきだが、このコンサートの内容は、ブルーレイディスクの映像と合わせることで何倍にも何十倍にも増幅されると思う。ゲームをプレイしたことのある人にとっては、なおさらではないかと思う。 時のオカリナのオープニングの音楽は、私には、非常に深い感情を呼び起こさせるものだった。ゼルダの伝説というゲームで一貫していることは、意外と少ない気がする。リンクが剣と弓矢を使って敵を倒して、ゼルダを助け、ハイラルを救うということだ。しかし、それは、容易ではないゲームになっている。その、困難を乗り越える楽しみを、さらに深くするがこれらの音楽の役目なのだろう。 音楽や映像は、作られたものであり、何の事実をも物語るものではないが、人々の心に刻まれた何かを思い起こさせるもののように私には感じられた。深みのある音楽・・・リンクとゼルダが３つのトライフォースを手に入れて、人々の願いと夢を２人で実現する物語り。 追記）ブルーレイディスクを見て感動を味わってしまうと、確かにもうCDは聴く気にならなくなる。私は、CDは車の中で聴くときに使ってます。

Es un objeto coleccionable obligado para todo fan de la franquicia que deben de tener, recomiendo escuchar los conciertos son una delicia escucharlos con un sistema de audio de 5.1 canales como mínimo.
