They are exactly what you think they are: short curtain rod holders.

Price has doubled since December 2020.
Took off a star because of the price increase. Got these because I have a huge sliding patio door with drapes and needed a bracket that didn't create such a large gap between the window and curtain. That cap caused too much heat loss in the northeast in winter months. These solved my problem allowing the curtains to hang almost snug to the frame and my room is much warmer feeling. Very expensive for what you get but they are really sturdy for their size and look great.

Not 1.25
Nowhere does it say it's for a 1/2 rod. It says 1.25 on eveything......one would assume its for a 1 or 1.25 inch rod.....1.25 is the actual length.
