Works well
I bought this spout because I had a good experience with my other EZ-pour spouts in the past and needed one that was narrower than the original EZ-pour because of the unique design of the gas โcapโ on my vehicle. The original EZ-pour fit into the first flap of my vehicleโs capless gas tank, but gasoline wouldnโt go in very fast. When I investigated further, I found a secondary anti-siphon flap in the filler neck on my vehicle. I bought this in the hopes itโd work and I was not disappointed. I was able to dump a whole 5-gallon gas can into my 2017 Dodge Durango R/T in under 2 minutes because this spout pushes both flaps open and allows the fuel to flow freely. You absolutely need to install the vent on the gas can though, otherwise youโll have a lot of difficulty pouring. The spout is very flexible and I was able to adjust it with ease while pouring from my gas can. It seems well made and was easy to install. Iโve tried it with several cans, including Midwest and Scepter with no leaks. Best of all, the tip is compatible with the filler neck on my vehicle and likely its sister vehicles (Jeep Grand Cherokee with capless fuel tank). I recommend it. A word of caution thoughโdonโt leave them out in the elements. I see complaints about the spouts cracking and whatnot; Iโd bet money that those are from people who left them baking in the sun all summer or out in the snow all winter. Keep them in a controlled environment when not in use and theyโll last a good while. Iโm so happy that I donโt have to fumble with the โotherโ โsafetyโ or โenvironmentally friendlyโ spouts anymore.

I like it better than the original
YES well worth the price, and easy to use. It replaces the horable gas tube that you have to hold in and push down the yellow thing. This one just screws on inplace of the one that comes with your gas can. Note, it comes with a plug for the hole you will want to drill in the gas can. So it can breath, I have not drilled the hole, and so my gas pour is slow, but it works great. I have not had one drop of gas leak out of the seal between the can and the gas tube. The gas tube is plastic just like the original.

What I received was different, it's better!
I happen to step on my Blitz 2 gallon gas container... long story & I managed to damage the existing EZ-POUR replacement spout. I thought it was just a damaged gasket, but the flange on the spout was damaged. Time for a replacement! The pro: + Reasonably priced at $9.95 with free shipping when I purchased this from Great Brands USA. + I didn't receive a "white" spout, I received a "black" spout! In addition, the spout gasket has been improved! The gasket is wider & thicker! + The black cap fits our old Blitz 2 gallon plastic gas container! + Advertised - EZ-POUR replacement spout and vent kit let's you update old cans. + Advertised - Easy Flow Action that won't break down or spill. + Advertised - Includes spout, cap, secondary cap, replacement vent, secondary base cap, and flame arrester. + Advertised - water jug spout that works on cans of all varieties. The cons: - Made in China. โ For those that prefer to buy products made in the USA. - Didn't come with a lanyard for the spout cap, as the previous kit I purchased? Closing remarks: โช Overall, I'm happy with this replacement spout kit. I actually prefer the black over the white spout, especially for a gas container. โช I normally don't give a 5 star rating at first, preferring to wait awhile... just in case something fails after it's been in service awhile.

I found the black cap to fit better. Both seemed to fit the threads acceptably
I purchased this to salvage my despised 2 gal. Blitz "water can" from the big-brother idiocy of the CARB and EPA. It works well. A couple things: First, the instructions indicate that the yellow cap is intended for a Blitz can. I found the black cap to fit better. Both seemed to fit the threads acceptably, however the yellow cap bottomed out (just barely) on the top of the can and left the top sealing surface about 1/16" short of the can neck. This would potentially result in a leak due to being unable to sufficiently tighten the cap to compress the seal. Check this very carefully on your installation. The spout flange and seal looks reasonably durable but I have yet to have any experience with it in use. Second, the instructions for installation of the vent indicate the can should be dry and empty before installation. I would highly recommend that you fill your can with water before installing the vent. Any drill can create a spark from the armature and you do not know what the vapor content of your water can is at any point. It is not that difficult to verify there is no plastic debris in your can once it is dry, and anyway your new spout has a screen in it. BTW, if you need a longer spout, buy two of these. They can be threaded together to make a double length spout. I am generally not a "Liker" or "Poster" but all in all a pretty satisfying purchase in my book.

Flow baby flow...
Works great with water jugs....Yeah, yeah, that's it, waaater jugs... Seriously, I don't spill gas everywhere when I use these, unlike the clumsy EPA mandated and approved junk that the manufacturers have to sell with new gas cans.

Works for my van but wish it was longer.
Purchased to replace the annoying and difficult fillers on standard gas cans. The gas fill port on my van is below a bulge in the sidewall so filling from the cans is a real pain in the a__ in general. This works much better, but it's still not long enough to make it simple and easy to fully empty the can. EZ-Pour does make a double length filler but the tube diameter is to large for my van fill port. Wish they made a long version with the narrow diameter.

They work, but rediculously expensive!
I hate hate hate the new so-called safety gas cans with their stupid spouts that cannot be left out as they don't have a tight fitting cap. I have tried cheaper replacement spouts, but none of them are worth using. These work, but they are the price of a new gas can for each one of them! But I like my old gas cans with this type of spout and I also have replaced the spouts on two new gas cans so they are now user friendly. The consumer is really being "gassed," but I guess we have to take it if we want a user friendly gas can.
