Works fine for the right application
This is intended for use with an amp or pre-amp designed for 1/4" stereo BALANCED input. If used with an amp with unbalanced mono input it will likely be unsatisfactory and produce a hum. The hum can be stopped by rewiring the adaptor internally for mono application (move the ring wire and attached to the ground terminal) but signal volume is low. Since it came as a two-pack, I modified one and marked it. If one doesn't work I can try the other.
