VTech Communications Safe & Sound Digital Audio Monitor with two Parent Units

The monitor worked once and then stopped working. The 2 units don’t even come on despite charging them for hours

Product is very good but unfortunately adaptors are not working in spite of keeping the adaptors

It’s 120V supported chargers broke. We realised it too late thinking it wouldn’t be a problem considering that we bought it from Amazon india. Anyway, be cautious!

This product is very useful But they should sell this with adapter for 220Volts.

These are wicked. I have now used them for approximately 7 months. Originally we got a video monitor for our baby shower that hooks up to your phone, but these are so much better. Let me tell you why. These don't rely on your internet connection. They work even when thats down. They sync so easily and ive never had an issue. Not once. They stay charged pretty well. Honestly ours stay plugged in (one bedside, one in living room) but when we do have to take them to do random things, theyre great. Sound quality is phenomenal. Honestly I can hear the quietest whisper when its on 3 out of 5 volume bars. My only issue, and its a non-issue is that there is a little light to show its plugged in and the handle glows slightly. I covered it with electrical tape and the handle actually is very faint, I covered most of that with tape too actually. Anyway, I highly recommend. Will be using these for our next children if we have any. Im very happy with our purchase as I write this at 1:30am because the video monitor has cut out.... again.

I was fed up with trying to call my wife from downstairs while she was in the upstairs ensuite bathroom doing her make-up or whatever. I needed something that was hands free at her end. Any intercom that I read about reviewers were unhappy with the hands free function as well as the sound quality. Some could also hear neighbours units interfering so it was not a secure private connection between the units. Fortunately I stumbled across this baby/intercom monitor that had many good reviews some from people using it as a hands free intercom like I needed. It has many good features. Encrypted audio for privacy, push to talk at one end and hands free at the other, selectable sensitivety/squelch levels, clear audio. These units should really be promoted as good intercom/monitors for seniors. Works very well for us.

We've used this baby monitor for about 18 months, and we have no complaints. For people like us who didn't want a video monitor, it meets all our needs. Its range is enough to work everywhere in our large house (with thick walls). The sound quality is as good as we need. The receivers have survived being dropped more than once. The charge while unplugged is fine, unless maybe you need to have it unplugged a lot? The interface on the parent part could use a little work, especially deciding what actions will cause the screen to light up at night. But this is absolutely not a dealbreaker for us. I'd recommend this monitor to any friends who didn't want video.
