Sturdy. Ease of assembly

Pieces missing when I got it. Won't stay together very wobbly. No cross braces. Gave it away. Not worth using

It worked great for the space we needed it for. Hard to find anything that is 16. Everything is 18 or 20.

It is a shelf and it holds things. So, I gave it two stars. It was fairly simple to assemble. But it is extremely unstable. I don't let my children retrieve or deposit items on the shelf for fear they will bump it the wrong way and it will fall on them. I'm hesitant to put anything heavy on it. I have it in my utility room holding craft items and household odds and ends. I would not use this in a garage for storing anything of significant weight.

This is not what I would call a "heavy duty" shelf, you get what you pay for. With that stated, it'll work fine for general household items. The wood is actually particle board or sawdust and glue. I put one outside in a shed, the other is in my basement. I suspect I will get years of use from both. p.s. it's very easy to assemble, 15 to 20 minutes. Step 1, pull the instructions back out of the trash can.

This was a thirty-dollar unit when I bought it from brick-and-mortar. Putting it together was a one-person job with a mallet. Adjusting the shelf height was easy. There's no denying that it is a medium-duty budget unit but putting a few dollars' worth of edge tape on the particle board will fix its one obvious visual defect. At the price point this unit is better designed and appears far more likely to stay put together than a more expensive Muscle Rack from the same manufacturer, and is miles better than any plastic unit. I'd buy this design again and in a larger size if they offered it.
