Excellent resource for parents
The book is really great. I am learning so much and it gives great advice. It is a bit dated but the information is relevant for today's culture. I highly recommend this book for parents to read and share info with their kids.

Very informative.
Very informative book. Deals with very serious and sometimes dark issues so it’s definitely for adults. I had bought it to go through with my daughter but after reading the first couple pages I realized it was way to graphic and mature for her to be hearing. Great thoughts for adults to be thinking about as they are bringing up their children.

Helps to give the why to our teens on morality
Excellent book on absolute truth. I wish I would have read this book when I was raising my sons. This gives us the why to our teens on truth, purity, etc and basically “right from wrong.” Our teens today are taught there are no absolutes. We need to be prepared to give an answer. There is much much more in this book. This is just a portion.

Every household should have a copy of this book, ...
Every household should have a copy of this book, it is relevant to all, should be mandatory in public school but that won't happen. Parents get a copy to your older children so they can prepare their own children for Truth that will benefit the raising of there children in the truth about sex.

A Must Read for Christian Parents
In 'Right From Wrong' Josh McDowell analyzes how the current generation of youth has lost a Biblically based value system and provides helpful advice to parents, pastors, youth workers, etc. This work was based upon a major study that was conducted on 3,795 'evangelical churched youth'. In many cases the results are quite shocking. The bottom line is that even Christian young people today don't perceive an objective standard of morality. Instead, they tend to view such standards as based upon individual preferences, much as the culture in general does.McDowell analyzes the forces that have influenced this shift going back to its roots at the end of the middle ages. He tracks the changes through the past century including influences by the media, public schools, etc. One of the main findings is that the changes in family structures, particularly the amounts of time that parents spend with their children since the end of WWII has created huge changes. This is a book that all Christian parents should read if they are concerned about passing their values on to the next generation.

Uncover the objective truth of the Bible
I had this book in Bible college after Josh McDowell visited the student body and gave a fantastic lecture on the subject of the book. What is objective truth and how does it relate to society? Truth for most families, even Christian ones becomes relative and falls into the 'Because I said so category'. This is dangerous, because young people are growing up without any notion of an objective truth which engenders a mindset that says 'I can make up my own truth and live by my own standards.'McDowell clearly sets out that Christian parents, in particular, should anchor truth in God's objective standard. Therefore, children are not disobeying mum or dad but God.In particular, Josh takes a fresh look at the 10 commandments, and shows that they are not just rules, but tie directly to an aspect of the character and nature of God. He introduces the 3 lenses of Precept (law), Principle and Person with which to view the commandments. So for example, take the Precept 'Do not lie', behind this is the Principle 'Truth', and ultimately the Person God who is Truth. He then demonstrates that these were given for our Provision and our Protection. This is a great apologetic work on this subject and although out of print, every pastor, parent and youth leader should get to grips with this.
