Hard As Nails®, Natural Tint, Nail Strengthener, Nail Protectant

I’ve gone through phases of doing gel nails, and while they look amazing, I got tired of the upkeep. Constantly soaking sets off or using a drill on my nails just started to feel like more work than it was worth. I wanted something easier to manage that didn’t feel damaging, and honestly this reminded me that sometimes the old ways really are the best ways. Sally Hansen Hard As Nails has been such a solid return to basics for me. My nails feel noticeably stronger, I’ve had way less peeling and breaking, and I don’t feel like I’m putting my nails through a whole process just to keep them looking nice. It’s simple, effective, and actually delivers on what it promises. I use it as a base coat under my regular nail polish and it makes everything go on smoother and last longer. I also paint the underside of my nails like it suggests on the bottle, and I do think it adds that extra bit of strength and protection. I usually do two coats, and sometimes three if I have the time or patience. I keep my coats very thin, though, and I’d definitely recommend doing the same because it dries better and looks smoother overall. It dries quickly, layers well, and even on its own gives a clean, healthy shine. One of my favorite unexpected parts is how nostalgic it feels. Using regular nail polish again makes me feel like a kid in the best way, just sitting there painting my nails without all the extra steps or tools. It’s low effort, a little fun, and still gives me results I’m really happy with. If you’re burnt out on gel or just want something easy that actually helps your nails instead of stressing them out, this is such a great go-to. It’s affordable, reliable, and has definitely earned a permanent spot in my routine.

After one use, I could already tell a difference in the strength of my nails. Being postpartum, my nails felt brittle even after taking supplements for them, but this polish did the trick. Effective and it leaves your nails looking shiny and healthy .

This stuff really works! The color is a clear with a slight hint of pink. Keeps my nails strong. Very effective and affordable.

After using OPI for years, I tried this Hard As Nails by Sally Hansen and it is now my go-to strengthener! Goes on nicely, lasts for days and the price is right. It really has made a difference in my nail health after taking of acrylics, and gives them a nice shine.

I like that. It has an actual tint, but it does take a little longer to dry than I would like.

This actually works! Has an a slight odor of nail polish but not quite as strong goes on clear my nails are stronger and have definitely grown within the week, there is shine but nothing too fancy and does dry pretty quickly, applicator is easier to use than a nail polish brush because it’s smaller I will continue to use it, you do have to reapply weekly because it chips or peels but I’m in the kitchen a lot and washing my hands more often than normal

I’d been trying all sorts of products to help strengthen my nails but nothing really helped. Then I ran across this Hard As Nails and I remembered using it years ago. And the price was cheap enough for another try. Oh wow, what a difference this has made on my nails! I just love it and my nails are becoming pretty again. This is one product I don’t want to be without. I use it as an undercoat, then my polish (usually Sally Hansen brand) and then use this as a top coat. It also dries quickly and hasn’t chipped for me. I tend to re-polish about once per week.

The product is wonderful for growing your nails and keeping them maintained but it takes ages to dry making it hard to layer coats
