Like a lot of the other reviewers, the bag of adhesive was damaged and covered everything in the box. When you purchase a Mapei product anywhere on this planet it comes in an indestructible heavy plastic bag, but this one is in something akin to Tyvek house wrap, which obviously does not work. However my biggest complaint is there is no way to contact the manufacturer if you have a question, there is not a phone number or even website on the instructions. Even a Google search returned nada on Woodbridge. My pan had a slight defect near a corner and I couldn't wait for another one so I wanted to apply something in case it wasn't watertight. All I needed was a little guidance, hello! Also, the instructions state to apply the adhesive with a 1/8 inch square-notched trowel but my stone product recommended a 1/4 inch notch, so either way I'm voiding somebody's warranty. And lastly, do I really have to wait 14 days to use my shower- it's in the instructions.As far as the pan itself, it is a sturdy product. For my use, I removed a cast iron tub to install this. My framing was spot-on 60"x 34" and this was exactly 59 7/8"x 31 3/4". I had to slide it in position (which opened Pandora's box), it was that or either remove then reframe a wall. So this is better suited if you intend to frame around it. My last comment concerns the smooth finish on the pan. For adhesion, I think a slightly textured surface would be more beneficial. Should I lightly sand it to improve the grip? Humm, let's ask Woodbridge. Oh wait, I can't. And do you think Amazon can answer these questions? Nope! If I had to do it over again, I probably would have looked at other options. I thought it was going to save me some time, but I could have set a traditional pan in the same amount of time. But if you're going to frame around it, you should be able to save some time and have a leak proof pan.

This product works but you have to make sure to get a good solid foundation. The instructions say to apply mortar the same depth as the ridges under neath the base and to only go within an inch from the edges. My experience is that you should over fill by 1/2 inch and then the overage will head toward the drain side and the edges. Then do not stand in it as this will over flex it and can push the mortar away from the bottom of the pan. Just gently push on it from the inside with hand pressure to try to get a good stick. And I didn't do this but it would have been a great idea to back butter the bottom of the pan to make sure you get good adhesion.

Product is great. It was smaller than I should have ordered. I shipped it back and apparently was awarded a refund. Its been 2 weeks and nothing but a note indicating the refund was issued. There is no record of a refund having taken place.

Updated review. Customer service is outstanding. The company contacted me about an issue that I had and resolved it. It’s nice to know that there are companies out there that care enough to reach out to people that buy their products. My contractor said that this was a very good shower base it was easy to install. He love the integrated drain so you don’t have to worry about water ever Getting to your sub floor. I am very satisfied with the product and also with the company. I would highly recommend this product or any other products that this company offers

Package was damaged BEFORE it was shipped. The manufacturer did a crappy job tapping up a torn bag of tile adhesive powder. They put this tile adhesive powder in a clear plastic bag and obviously the bag will bust when thrown into a larger box without proper padding. The powder was EVERYWHERE. This took way too much extra time to clean up. Had to go to local hardware store to get additional tile adhesive. Would not recommend. MOST IMPORTANTLY the drain hole is NOT centered in the middle of the shower pan. It’s shifted to the side which again requires extra work for adjusting the drain to line up with the hole.

arrived with a crack in the upper side, luckily it didn't affect the shower base and water tightness. Price point is great though

Fast shipping. I got a personal call from the marketing manager about my experience, talk about customer service!We were happy with the fit of the product. Good material. Easier than building a shower base from scratch like we did with our other shower, we are planning to put down loose river rock and a teak insert to stand on rather than tiling the bottom. Will try to remember to post pictures when the project is complete!

The bag of mastic was poorly packaged and broke during causing a mess. Amazon made it right with a small credit for the mess cleanup and replaceement costs. Otherwise the pan itself works well, as expected.
